It's unclear from this video, the manual and even the company website whether you are supposed to keep your aligners in your mouth while using this system. I have Invisalign retainers on top and bottom and this video has used language suggesting the Aevo should be used with the gel against the gums. So which is it? Retainer in or out? This isn't a cheap gadget and I'd like to know how it's supposed to be used effectively. Anyone?

Uck, you gave me the courage to just clip the wire on my grandson’s braces after both sides fell out….THE 4th WIRE TO DO THIS! Then the wax doesn’t even stick to the metal brackets and he has to keep applying it after every time he eats until he can get in to have it fixed yet again. I find it impossible to believe that this is the best process that the industry can come up with! Anyway, good video, just peeved that it has to exist in the first place.

I swear to God dude the wax doesn't even keep my wire in place at all. Like I put wax on the wire to stick it to my teeth to stop it from irritating my gums but it doesn't work at all. I'm putting it on the right way exactly but nothing works. And now I have to wait 2 weeks to go to my orthodontist appointment because I'm out of my state and I have to deal with so much pain that can't go away

I’m honestly so annoyed rn bc this has happened to me 3 times. 2 times on both sides of my braces with my last wire and I just gave up. Now again with my new wire. Tbh I am eating foods like Takis and crunchy and hard foods. I tried for like 15 minutes one time to get it back in place by myself but it’s too hard. And my mom doesn’t know how to do it but I don’t want to go back to the orthodontist constantly to get my wire fixed bc I feel like this’ll happen a lot and I don’t want to make an appointment for something I can do at home.

My wire had come out of my back bracket. I’ve got it back in. Do I still need to see my ortho or is everything fixed?

You completely saved me from asking my mom to go get an appointment! (And from going to that place, I hate dentist. (No offense)) I some how did this by accident when trying to find the wire! But if worked out.

This just happened to me an hour ago. I'm trying to put back in place but I'm having trouble getting the wire back into the slot. Edit: My mom tried to put in the slot but failed and I also failed trying to put back in the slot 🙃. I'm now considering to cut the wire with nail clippers but kind of scared to do so. My next appointment is in 3 weeks. Should I or should I not cut the wire 🤔?

Dr? My wire came out but not out it was like wavy. i push it down and it gone back to it place. I wanna know does it affect the treatment If a wire comes out but you put back in place?? I felt pressure and after I went to the mirror and I saw gap between that teeth and it is my 1st mont I do remember I didn’t have gap there before . Is it something to do with the treatment or is the lose wire affecting it?

Thank you for posting this, I managed to get it back in.

I have my Appointment in 2 weeks and 4 days, I’m worried that it’II Affect my teeth. I put wax on top of it. I cant call or my dentist because I forgot their number as well as I cant go outside because of lockdown in my area. I cant bend my wire as well because I think it’s quite thick. But however when it came out it didn’t poke me as well as I’m not having any discomfort. However, Will waiting it out for my next appointment affect my teeth at all?
