This is pretty darn cool dude. I see this "finger drumming" sort of thing being used most frequently by hip-hop and electronic music lovers and that seams to be the most common way of using it, but I find it awesome when people go beyond that and apply finger drumming to rock music and other genres. That's precisely what's going on here; you're finger drumming to rock music instead of hip-hop or electronic music which I think is awesome! I mean, I'm certainly not against hip-hop and stuff like that, but I feel that finger drumming has a lot of potential in other genres of music. Imagine a heavy metal band that uses finger drumming in place of "real" drums and imagine how very practical that would be for concert tours for example. Finger drumming is a lot more portable than actual drums because you're essentially just operating a panel of small buttons to play percussion sounds if you know what I mean. Compare that to actual drumming where you're hitting a set of individual drums that are each like 10 or 20 inches wide; that extra space required for real drums adds up, which might be impractical for some situations or performance spaces, not to mention the fact that actual drums tend to be rather heavy. Even electronic drums take up a fair amount of space, even if they're a bit smaller and lighter than acoustic drums, and electronic drums can still make a fair amount of noise because you'd still be essentially whacking something with a stick. Hitting something with a stick is always gonna make a bit more noise than merely pressing buttons; this is why finger drumming can be even quieter than electronic drums.

I've heard finger drumming being used mostly for electronic music and hip-hop, so it's nice to see the concept of finger drumming in the rock and heavy metal genres. It's a bit of a change up from how many people apply it.
