A better option for headlight restoration/repair
A video of me using an acrylic aquarium repair kit to recondition my headlights. Let me know what you think. You be the judge and months later it's still looks great.

2009 Suzuki Burgman 650 oil change
มุมมอง 3.5Kปีที่แล้ว
Sorry about the sound. It was a bit windy that day. Overall fairly easy for the DIY'er. I paid around $55.00 for an OEM oil change kit. I didn't video tape the clearing of the oil change light as it's a 2 handed operation.
Blue Spring install into my 04 Ford F-350 6.0
มุมมอง 2.8K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Installed a Sinister Diesel blue spring kit on my 04 Ford F-350 6.0l. I was quoted $90.00 plus parts but saw other videos and decided to tackle it myself. Huge difference in the way the truck feels now and better power when it's cold. I noticed better acceleration when cold and of course no more leaky fuel filter. Definitely something you can tackler yourself. I got the kit from Sinister direct...
Adding LED headlights to my 1990 Toyota 4runner

Short video on adding newer LED headlights to an older Toyota 4runner. Found out that even though the connectors are the same these newer headlights work differently and need a relay system to function properly. It's like going from candles to the lightbulb as far as the visibility at night. Here is a link to the 2 products I used. LED wiring harness- amzn.to/3f5sruB LED headlights.-www.ebay.co...

Replacing the 3 seals, cleaning out the gear case and putting the transmission back together. I didn't find out what was causing it to jam the front drive gear joint but you can see how much better it is after putting it back together.

Removing and rebuilding a 2005 Scrambler 500 4WD transmission. I'm not a mechanic but thought I'd share since I couldn't find one for my year Scrambler. I figured I either fix it or buy a used one but looking good so far. Part 2 is all cleaned up and put back together.

      It's been a few years but they're all over Ebay. Just type Toyota LED relay kit. Usually run under $20. Just make sure it works for the type of headlights you're replacing.

    I have the same year runner, h4 harness and different LED headlights, when I tried mine I only get low beams and nothing happens when I switch on the highs. Before trying the harness, I switched the black and white wires from the headlight plug (Top and left) and both highs and lows came on on low beam so I know the bulbs work, and all turned off on highs. Any idea why I’m getting a different result? Also, my high beam lever only flashes highs but won’t stay clicked into place to stay on, yours seems to work properly so I may need a new combination switch

    • @BenitoGuerrero
      @BenitoGuerrero 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you using a relay harness like the one I installed? The wiring is the same but the power is not when it comes to powering the LED headlight. I'll make another video shortly showing the wiring for all 3, the headlights, daytime running lights and turn signals.

    • @Yabishp
      @Yabishp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BenitoGuerrero my LED lights don’t have the turn signal function/ lights like yours does. I’m not entirely sure what H4 wiring harness I have, I got it off of Amazon and it’s made in china, same factory plug in for the 1990 4runner lights. I think my high beams switch may be faulty, when I pull back on the lever, the high beams come on using the flash function, but when I push the lever forward, I get the high beam light indicator on my dash but no high beams, the lever also doesn’t stay on the high beam setting when I push it forward, it just bounces back to the low beam position which makes me think the lever/ switch is faulty. Does that make sense?

    • @BenitoGuerrero
      @BenitoGuerrero 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Yabishp The light switch should stay forward for the high beams. You're correct in assuming that your switch might be bad.

    I have a question. Did you ever have to adjust anything or was your fuel pressure where it was supposed to be.

    • @BenitoGuerrero
      @BenitoGuerrero 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nothing to adjust. Evidently the spring is stiffer than what came from the factory and that is what causes the fuel pump to build up pressure and give you a bump in fuel pressure.

It's the part I'm moving up and down at the 8:03 mark. The fork slides into that gear. Once you take it apart you should be able to tell.
