My father passed away back in June 2022 while I was playing Valheim daily. I spent most of my play time back then building my house, storage, smelter etc. I didn't modify anything since his passing, I kept that home base untouched, I visit it occasionally and I stand still in his memory. My dad passed away peacefully at home, I can see him during his last few days at home while this music plays in the background, he will soon leave home for the last time...

I think I speak for everyone who's ever played Valheim... The swamp sucks.

I may be biased, but after trudging through the swamp and surviving Bonemass, the mountains are a breath of fresh air.

Other than the black forest this song is the perfect theme for an introduction to a tabletop game set in the days of a dying age.

Mistlands is the best biome if you remove the mist with a mods lol

This is probably my favorite track in the game, contending with black forest, but in game for some reason it's very quiet. I actually had to use a mod that replaces music, I took the same track, bumped it's volume by like 12 decibels with a sound program, just so it would be on par with other music in game

When I'm mining a huge chunk of Copper and need to rebuff myself, so I put down a fire source nearby and use the "shelter" from the floating rock to get amazing 3 comfort, I too feel right at home

This music is metaphoric for "Shit's about to go down!"

I love that there's a bit of a growling sound under the strings. Whenever it plays and you're staring at the eerie orange sunlight through the pines, it makes it feel like the whole forest is alive and ready to murder your ass.

People who don't understand Mistlands say it's the worst biome. People who do understand it know it's better than the previous biomes.

This music makes me feel sleepy The creepy but old forest welcoming me to rest beneath its trees the greydwarfs lurking about and the rumbling or a trolls footsteps, gentle patter of deer hooves and the rattling of a catacombs skeleton. Its a land full of danger and wonders and yet still the music brings me home under the Twilight of the trees.

Always find it hilarious how many people try to melee in this game.

Last weekend i was part of a small crew on an ocean going yacht. We are out in the Andaman Sea sailing around the islands. We had good winds, an epic sea and when we were settled at full sail, an amazing wind and 6/8 blue sky i put this on full blast on the sound system. It was EPIC. The crew just wanted to leave it on a loop. Its the first piece of music i ever heard that truly captures that kind of sailing. I will never forget last weekend. Thanks to the devs for getting an awesome composer and making a game i couldn’t turn off. 👏🏻👏🏻

i really believe that when you enter the black forest, music seems like youre not welcome and youre innocent among these beasts. after you beat the elder, youre starting to change. youre now the lord of the forests, you conquered these lands in name of odin

I only just started playing valheim, 50h in, and this paticular score really stuck out to me. That marching drone with a moaning violin. Beautiful, sadening.
