Hands down best job I ever had in my life when I worked there ❤❤❤ i miss perry and leo 😢❤
I remember both of them… wishing you every blessing.
@aml5321 thank you and sending blessings your way as well 🙏
@aml5321 it was funny seeing Paco lmfao I called his the wannabe god father 🤣🤣🤣
What about Handel?
Thanks. It’s a worthy question. Handel, interestingly enough is claimed by both the Lutheran and Anglican churches as their own. That said, GFH certainly grew up in the Lutheran Church and frankly contributed much do the musical life of all Christendom as well as that of humanity in general. I hope to record some Handel in the not too distant future.
Bailing out criminals that attack police officers. Absolutely shameful.
Hi Tim. Just to keep the record straight, the church itself actually is not responsible for bailing anyone out. As for me, I’m just a preacher and an organist. Peace.
Beautiful!
thank you for listening.
Hello old friend!!!
The chaconne in e minor is amazingly beautiful
Bravo bravo was the best❤
Thank you so much for listening!
Prodegious and inspirational performance

The mark of a musician who truly understands the soul of the organ is one who understands how to work with the resonance of his space... too many organists continue to play at a rhythm without respect for the resonance of a room. The following echo and silence are part of the performance as a brilliant fanfare. Without silence, the fanfare just becomes noise¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Excellent point. I do my best to let the music breath. Articulation is the primary key to expressivity in organ playing.
Beautiful playing. God bless you in your ministry
Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to listen.
Your welcome and I only wish you the best and great happiness and that is all I want to say to you.
A wonderful upload. Many, many thanks for posting.

Thank you for putting this beautiful Epiphany music here.
You're welcome. Thank you for listening!
The chaconne is beautiful.
Beautiful music beautifully played.
As an independent confessional lutheran I thank you for share that exquisite soul food!!
Me too. Why are you independent ? Where do you live? I'm in NZ. I go to church every Sunday but can't find a church to join
More than welcome, Brother. Soli Deo Gloria!
Beautiful!
Thank you for listening
I was very careful not to knock over the camera setup this morning when I came in for MP. BTW, has anyone ever told you that you are really good at playing the church organ? <3
Thank you Victor! Should have warned you about the location of the streaming camera!
Beautiful and thoughtful music.
Thank you so much for listening!
Beautiful. Thanks for adding the psalm to read along with the music.
And thank you for talking the time to listen and keeping an open mind!
This is so lovely. Loved reading the psalm along with the music.
Wonderful concert Anthony’s improvisations are on point every time I hear him play.
Thank you for your kind words.
Nice! A pleasure to hear! Someone knows which guitar is Peter playing(electroacoustic)? Have a great day! From Chile.
Great concert. Where does one mind end and another mind begin? Anthony! Great ideas percolating around those two swirling mavens of sound. The ONLY thing which could possibly have enhanced this concert was a crazed, nonsensical spewing vocalist who encapsulated the ravings of a Phil Minton like acolyte on an amphetamine fueled acid trip in the back seat of a car madly careening down the road with the ghost of Hunter S. Thompson at the wheel!
Thanks John. And... I know just the person ... the one person who could have added to the glorious musical insanity!
Goodness me. Simultaneously soothing AND stimulating. Just the job for restoring Florida's reputation, which thanks to a couple of its more notorious residents, has recently taken a bit of a battering.
But luckily you have a pro-freedom governor which is a true blessing
Glorious. Beautifully played.
Thank you for listening, Chris!
Wonderful performance, Anthony! Was this a digital organ? It sounded really good! It's great to hear you play again.
Thanks so much, Mitch. Yes - digital organ - Hauptwerk system. Fairly convincing - at least in recordings.
@@aml5321 I'd love own a digital organ someday. I've heard of Hauptwerk, and they're convincing!
@@MitchBoucherComposer Definitely check into Hauptwerk - all you'll need is a MIDI capable console - you can easily retrofit an old pipe organ console or analog electronic organ if you want to. Lot's of info online, but I can also guide you if need be...
@@aml5321 I hope to look into getting my own in the coming years. I'll reach out to you once I get started with it!
@@MitchBoucherComposer Great. I'll be glad to help.
Glorious music on a Sunday morning!
Thanks for listening, Chris!
Magnificent and exciting music showing the versatility of the organ and the organist
Thank you so much, Chris
The music and artwork make a wonderful concert experience at home.
Thanks Chris. A lot of these new "mini videos" are files I created for "virtual worship" - I thought I'd give them a wider hearing, if possible...
This is a beautifull piece of music by another Lutheran master organist from the. High orthodox period of Lutheran church history.
Definitely. Thank you for listening
A beautiful rendition! Could be nice to mention the used sample set in your descriptions.
Thank you. You're right. I'm actually going to through all of these uploads later today and put the sample set info in.
It's great to see and hear you playing again, Anthony! I hope you've been well.
Thank you so much! It's good to be back
@@aml5321 You're welcome! I'm grateful for your return.
Interesting listen - but a little surreal listening to Christmas music in Lent!
Actually thought the same thing really _ about the surreal part. I broadcast this via Zoom right before Christmas, but never posted, so here it is... thanks for listening!
So beautiful and moving.
thank you for listening Chris
So beautiful and moving.
Very well played, at a beautiful pace. Thanks! At wat organ/sample set is this played?
Thank you for listening. For this I used the G. Silbermann Organ, Grosshartmannsdorf by Pipeloops. An older set but still effective, IMO
@@aml5321 Of course, I could have known. Ralph (yolar from contrebombarde)
@@RalphLooij good to see you here
@@aml5321 small world! I see you upload more on TH-cam than on Contrebombarde (as I do), so I subscribe.
@@RalphLooij Thank you sir! Excellent - shall subscribe to your channel as well!
You still have that organ? 830?
Bravo
Thank you so much!
It's good to hear you performing again! I enjoy Sweenlinck's music.
Thank you so much for listening!!
@@aml5321 You're welcome! I hope to browse more of your channel in the coming days.
@@MitchBoucherComposer Great! Please enjoy and let me know what you think. I have a fair amount of videos- recitals, organ and harpsichord repertoire, improvisations, my own compositions, sermons, and lectures.
Thanks cuz! I recognize a few of those images and was nice to see them to your music.
Welcome! Originally created this years ago - had asked your dad for specific images for the project, so his creative hand is really in this one.

Beautiful music & artform. Grew up with this music in my Texas church.
Thank you for taking the time to listen. Peace and blessings...
Has anyone ever told you that you're really good?
Thank you, Victor. You are very kind!
Telemann has some great footprints for me to step into: Born in the same town like I was, (almost exactly to the day) 300 years before I was, gaining his musical experience exactly like I currently do. Unfortunately, the predecessor organs at the Magdeburg Cathedral, most notably the Compenius organ where he originally used to play, have been completely destroyed in the mean time, with the latest casualty being the 1906 Röver organ, which was destroyed in the infamous air assault near the end of WWII on January 16th 1945. But, following his steps, I'm still proud that I already had a few chances to play the current 2008 main organ on the West balcony --- a symphonic monster and fabulous instrument. Thanks for taking the time to listen. Also, thank you for the great links. Monster indeed! But in a good way. Also - bravo to your courage and ingenuity in taking well known themes and "running with them"! Keep at it - the autodidactic approach worked for Telemann - it's working for you!
@@aml5321 Yep, that's the plan --- Thanks for the motivation, Anthony! :-)
