This is such beautiful poetry. I’d love to read more of his writing. I feel like he had a lot to tell us. His is the type of art that could change hearts.

River cited Rainer Maria Rilke, Austrian poet in this postcard. In Rilke's poem Liebes Lied: "Doch alles, was uns anruhrt, dich und mich, nimmt uns zusammen wie ein Bogenstrich, der aus zwei Seiten eine Stimme zieht Auf welches Instrument sind wir gespannt? Und welcher Geiger hat uns in der Hand? O susses Lied". This is my favorite poem from Rilke. Reminds me of high school days when me and my friends learn this by heart to recite. Glorious days! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

It's River Phoenix's 49th bday today I heard him whisper in my ear to heal....listening to his words again is proof he really was an INDIGO child/ adult. 🌙 but... when will we ever truly HEAL? We miss him deep. 🌿🌷🌸🌺🌻

I've only just come across this. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Like most I only knew River from his on screen appearances but I still miss him and am still heartbroken. His soul was so deep and beautiful it touched us all.

I was only half-paying attention, doing 2 other things, but as I watched her talk, I was thinking - her mouth reminds me of Sue Solgot. Ha! And it is, woah! So happy she shared this with the world.

Was so sweet to hear his beautiful writings. Thank you for sharing. Went to school with River and Rain, Toluca Lake Elementary, for a short time. He performed with Rain in the talent show. Then we had mutual friends to the end of his life. What a beautiful soul, he was. Still sad. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into his inner wisdom. Love and light to you! 💗 -Tree

Hi , thank you for giving us fans a glimpse of him. I have a copy of Sky magazine from 1990 with River on the cover and an interview inside. I believe you are the girl featured in the photos with him. Such tender pictures and what sweet words he dedicated to you.I was a 15 year old school boy when he died.

Ever since i found out and learned about River I've thought of him as a comrade, just another young person (i'm 21 approaching 22) trying to figure this world out and what we want from it. thank you for posting this video. its truely beautiful. p.s i flew to miami from seattle to see the premiere of dark blood and it was the greatest experience of my life. he was amazing in it.
