hello professor Erica Hays. You do not know how much you helped me for my class GRA 220, I wish more teachers were as knowledgeable and didactic as you are. BIG THANKS!

You are not going to believe this but a Professor of the GRA 205 at SNHU elevated a claim to the Office of Academic Integrity stating I might have committed fraud because I did this trick you are making here with the text that looks like "3D" and you call "offset". When I saw your video I had tears in my eyes... that "Professor" stated that I probably passed my poster made in Illustrator to PAINT and I made layers there in Paint (go figure), and then imported the poster back to Illustrator with those "layers" she said I did in Paint.... anyone who has a little idea of software knows you cannot do layers in Paint, and you can do them in Illustrator, but worse, I tried to explain to her the process I did. I told her I just "made a copy of the text and move it to the side, then colored the original text with brownish read, and then brought the copied text and put it on top of the original text but a little bit moved to the side so it looked like 3D." English is my second language, so I wish I knew the word "offset" that you are using, maybe she would understand a little? ... It was very frustrating to me to see her ignorance and her abuse throwing me to the Office of Academic Integrity when I am extremely honest decent person who only made a text look good, as you just did.... thank you for your videos, very teaching for me!!!!
