Thank you for your video! I bought one of these for my mom a year and a half ago and it suddenly stopped working, sure enought the T and lines were totally clogged with calcium. Took the time to clean the refrigerant coils while I was there, and it seems to be working great! Only thing I have to add is be careful pulling the line off the drain inside, I put a small hole in mine and found it the hard way after reassembly 😅 Will be cleaning the machine more often now to prevent or at least slow down the deposits! Distilled water is not a realistic option with how far I live from town and how much ice she uses.

I have cleaned the machine. When i try to make ice the fans will get on but then the full ice button lights up and it has not made any ice yet. Where is the reset button on this thing. I tried holding the power button but it does not do anything.

Mine is running and sounds like fan is going but now its not i guess cooling enough (plenty of air flow around) and its not making ice at all....and i jist cleaned mine with vinegar and water..any ideas

Did ur eye maker stop turning to dump the ice? That's what mine is doing it doesn't turn anymore

Just bought one of these junk China Made Machines 2 weeks ago and its already making a clicking noise every few seconds, wasn't doing it for a week and now 2 weeks later it is. Junk, don't buy!

I hope the next generation of these nugget Ice makers (all brands) are built with cleaning in mind. They DO get scummy inside which can make one sick.

Thank you! Your video helped us when Frigidaire and Curtis International couldn’t . Poor customer service on their product. I cleaned my icemaker as shown in your video. Sure enough. It was clogged up. Cleaning it worked. It’s now making ice. Thanks again for sharing.❤

I bought one used and used it once and noticed there were a few specks of debris laying at the bottom where the ball is sitting (water line). I’ve cleaned it the way you described but was unable to get them. Do you have any suggestions?

Yeah, been there done all that and still no functions. Point that the instructions tell us to only use distilled/purified water not tap water! Going to check the cooling fan and try again! Thanks for the video.

Can’t figure out where that tube comes out of? The tube she pulls out of the port and it has some calcium in it . Where is the port located?

If you have high calcium in your water it will clog the ice cylinder and possibly get stuck and break the gear box. Decalcifying (overnight) maintenance and or using filtered water is recommended.

Video helped me a lot with disassembly to clean mine. My ice maker was just as dirty but my problem turned out to be that the exhaust fan on the side was bad. If there is no air flow over the coils the cooling element doesn't get cold enough to freeze the water. Luckily the fan can be replaced by any 120mm DC 12v computer case fan. The kind you can pick up from any electronics store or Best Buy for 15 dollars.

I did everything the same, and it's still not working. All it seems to want to do is clean. The lights won't come on for power, ice... nothing. I'm highly upset about it. Paid too much for this to only have for a year.

It didn't work for me 😭 I got my ice maker on June 7th 2023 & it will not make ice. Only 2 months old. I'm so upset!!
