Lecce a stunning, breathtaking old town. Bern is nice too. Wrazlaw is really beautiful. Only needs a better public transit. Trieste is nice but has no decent access to the sea, only car parks I suppose that Thesalloniki is a smaller Athens - nothing special. The rest is to be discovered.
europe is like going to the middle east today
ABERDEEN in SCOTLAND 🏴 should’ve been listed-it’s such a CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED Scottish 🏴 City 🏙️.
I’ve been to all but two of these cities. Most of them are really great places, but Thessaloniki? Apart from a very small center it doesn’t have much to offer and it completely lacks greek charme. I would add Cardiff, Aarhus or Valencia instead.
Hard to listen to AI generated voice and text for so long. I’d rather have a real person with emotions, humor and a personal touch tell a story.
In Italy : Turin, Perugia, Ancona, Genoa, Udine, Bari, Parma, etc. Well, every region has a lot to offer in terms of cities, but Rome, Florence, Venice and Naples get most of international interest. In France : Lyon, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Marseille, Quimper, Bastia, Nancy, Tours, Troyes, Bourges. Basically everywhere is little known by international tourists in France, except Paris, Strasbourg and Cote d'Azur by international tourists. In Greece : Ioanina, and yes, Thessaloniki. Not many cities since arhitecture is usually brutalist but tourists concentrates in Athens and the Islands whereas the country has plenty to offer everywhere. In central Europe, most cities have a beautifully preserved centre (and horrible outskirts).
I may go to a few of these to vlog 🙌
Really a wonderful video! I've been to Lecce (fantastic), Coimbra (fascinating), Trieste (aristocratic) and, of course, Napoli (underrated? It's the "capital" of southern Italy, a very important city). So... I'll run to pack my bags! Thank you! 👏
Fyi, if you didn`t know yet, how to travel in Europe cheap and flexible: With the famous Interrail-Ticket (Eurail-Ticket for Non-EU-People) you can travel by train super easy and cheap. They offer different passes, that include a certain number of days to travel, that you can choose super flexible. This day costs about 60 Eur in the most expensive pass (4 days in 1 month) or 43 Eur (8 days in 2 months) up to a whole month of traveling every day for about 300 Eur. Super nice opportunity to discover all this cities. ☀ Side note: As a EU-habitant you get two days of travel in your own home country and some speed trains, in some countries, require an extra seat reservation.
Beg to differ about Wroclaw and Gdansk as I am regular in both these cities - they are really popular with tourists throughout the year and even if the majority of them are Poles not French, German or British it still does not make them underrated
I can't remember the last time I watched a video like this without skipping through it. I love the pattern of saying "this city invites you..." and "imagine yourself..." for each city.
Here’s a [criminally] underrated city 🏙️ in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 for you: *Aberdeen* in Scotland 🏴.
You are right. Aberdeen is great and definitely underrated.
@@iceprincess3981 you’re right there! Surprised 😳 they *never* _even_ mentioned ABERDEEN!!! *Aberdeen* deserves to be 40 odd percent BIGGER THAN *LONDON!*
from Italy I would add Bergamo, Genova and even Bolzano
Thanks for the good suggestions! Thanks for watching the video!
Not one French city!!? :(
Brno, great mention! Underrated city that garantees you a memorable expirience
Thank you for your comment and watching the video! Brno is great.
This selection and the video itself was stunning! I know it is difficult to include all of the world's most beautiful places and condense them into a video - but I was surprised that the Great Barrier Reef wasn't included. Also, Mexico's Copper Canyon is actually larger than the Grand Canyon and has spectacular scenery including waterfalls, caves, and is also inhabited by the Tarahumara Indians.
Thank you so much! ❤️ Actually, the Great Barrier Reef is number 16 in the video.😊 Thanks for suggesting Copper Canyon.
Ljubljana and Trieste are truly underrated gems that are only an hour or so apart. Both have a special place is my heart and I'm genuinely glad that they're being highlighted here, but at the same time with my fingers crossed that only mindful travelers go. Great video and recommendations!
Thank you for your comment and for watching the video! Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow lovely wonderful thanks
Thank you! ❤️Thanks for watching the video!
Hidden gems? Every single one of these places is being overrun by busloads of tourists!
I went to Ljubjlana, Zagreb and Trieste 2 weeks ago and there was literally nobody at the airport when we arrived. Ljubljana is nice and modern, not a lot to visit. Slovenia has scenic mountains and coast. Trieste is a hidden gem in the area, with no tourists at all. Definitely a hidden gem area combining the alps and the adriatic sea.
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for watching the video and sharing this information!
I don't like your voice
As a Brit, I think Belgium is one of my favourite countries in Europe. It is often overlooked but it is an architectural wonder! Gent is probably my favourite city. I also like Ieper not just because of all the significant history for Britain (First World War) but because it is a lovely city with nice bars and restaurants. Nice people too the Belgians.
Thanks for watching the video and sharing interesting information!
Seville is not underrated at all !
It IS also a matter of Beauty and avaiability to get to some cities like i would vlearly Spende Money to get to a City rome Paris or Barcelona but Not If ITS far away to a City Like Gdansk or Brno.
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for watching the video!
Europe is beautiful. Lost of old architecture
Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching the video. You are right. Europe is really beautiful.
I would add for sure the most underrated and the real italian hidden gem - TURIN! For everyone who loves mountains, hills, lakes, advantures, rich culture, delicious food and really good wines; the home of Lavazza, Nutella, Martini, Grissini, Barolo, spumante Asti, truffles of Alba and many many other things famous all over the world but without knowing the "place of birth" of all those products! Not overcrowded, with nice people and million places to visit and to explore, Turin has it all!!! ❤
Thanks for watching the video and sharing fascinating information about Turin. ❤️
Good video, thanks for the timestamps.
Thank you! Thanks for watching the video!
that bratislava describe is funny. im slovak but that city is horrendous. literally nothing except weird castle and overpriced tourist traps in Stare mesto. for wine visit better places around bratislava, for folklore literally anything. if you like history, vienna, budapest, brno (btw, you would sipping beer or wine here, not coffee :D ) or even prague are much better options. and if you wanna great central europe city i agree with wroclaw, its amazing city with history, great cuisine, nature and unbelievable number of great places, pubs or coffee shops. great combination of history, nature, student life and modernity :)
Thanks for rating Wrocław where I lived some time, you're right with critic for Bratislava but too strict for Slovakia as all - even if Košice is too far, smaller cities like Trenčin or Žilina are so charmfull 😉
Well made but missed TALLINN ESTONIA 🇪🇪
Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching the video. True. Tallinn could very well have been on this list.
The Netherlands has (besides the touristy Amsterdam) also more very nice cities. The Hague and Utrecht are beautiful cities with nice historical buildings. And if you are more into very modern cities, Rotterdam and Eindhoven. Both very nice modern cities with a vibrant and international city vibe.
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for watching the video!
Parabéns pelo vídeo!
Kosice, Slovakia
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for watching the video!
The two most beautiful cities on this list are Gdańsk (Danzig) and Wrocław (Breslau). And to think that if it weren't for the stupidity of Hitler and the German Nazis, Poland would not have any city on this list. You have to appreciate how beautifully these cities have been restored, during the communist period they were gray and dirty, like the rest of the cities in Poland in this period.
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for watching the video!
Ghotic Torun, Poland
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for watching the video!
Rotterdam is nice
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for watching the video!
Thank you for your wonderful sharing 👍 Have a nice weekend 🤩
Thank you for your comment! 😊Thanks for watching the video! Have a nice week! 😊
Torino is too underrated even by you
Thank you for the feedback! Thanks for watching the video!
I was in Sevilla Spain 3 wks ago and it's definitely NOT a hidden gem. Where did you get your facts for this list?
Coimbra, Sevilla, Aarhus, Ghant, and Naples are my favorites cities.
Thanks for sharing! Thanks for watching the video!
Great video to watch, just hit mute and enjoy.
This terrific video would be even better if the narrator could properly pronounce the foreign words, including the city names. Mispronunciation perpetuates the pervasive impression that Americans are hopelessly unilingual. 😊
Thank you for the feedback! 😊Thanks for watching the video!
Sevilla is my favorite city in the world. I've been to Spain four times. Sevilla is always a highlight. It is a more manageable size than Madrid, and looks just like the Spain of your fantasy. My only advice, avoid going in summer. It's quite hot from June until September. My second favorite Spanish city is Alicante, with its great waterfront.
I love Seville - go in the spring or autumn. Far too hot in the summer. Go on a day trip from there to Cordoba or Cadiz by train.
Thanks for sharing! Thanks for watching the video!
Thank you for your comment!
I was in Seville on May last year for my birthday and we had 37 degrees😅 It's crazy I,m Spanish but this is too much even for us 😂😂😂
Seville underrated? There are plenty of tourists.
Thessaloniki was the worst city I have visited. It was polluted and smelled from the bay. Hotter than hell. Nothing to see. Horrible. The smell was horrible.
Our Europe is the best place on earth😊
Thank you for your comment! True.😊 Europe is full of amazing places.
Yes but you all have not quite figured out how to make love not war?🤔🙏
True!
Sorry, but Graz is really not located the heart of Austria.
Thank you for the feedback! Thanks for watching the video!
