    Good on you to open this subject. You are asking for dialogue.

    Assalamwailakum I hope you are well Firstly you claim at 2:00 that the mainstream deobandi movement is not at the fore front of any work. This is simply not true, the only people that are at the forefront of work is the deobandi movement. Jamaat tableegh and their work??? The deobandi students and ulema going for jamaat for months away from family, some going to poor and rural areas for gasht and jamaat, spreading and teaching islam,what about the istimas? Apart from jamaat tableegh, what about all the mosques and madressa established by deobandi students who come from a far to study and go back home to spread Deen? All the khanqahs, programs and regular majlis which people intellectually and spiritually benefit from. All the charity organizations over the world run by deobandi institutes and ulema? You did acknowledge the academic refutations, deoband ulema of haq are essentially the only people refuting liberal, interfaith and many other problematic ideas. Many ulema are against photography , videos and posting on social media and showing their work which explains why may give one the impression that they are not at the fore front of work. Secondly with regards to the alleged "brainwash" done in the uloom Many ulema and asatiza encourage students and people to research and see for themselves what is haq and baatil and not take from their mouths. On certain issues, the ustaads are rightfully not willing to engage in discourse with students for many reasons. Like interfaith, liberalism and deviant ideologies etc. Thirdly, you are very quick to criticize the ulema of haq and their methods, They are only in the fikr and concern of the ummah and their students. All their work and intentions are pure. Inshallah I look forward to to you responding Jazakallah

    • @umarkabiruddin
      @umarkabiruddin หลายเดือนก่อน

      firstly how are you going to say there's alleged brainwashing and then at the end say all their intentions are pure. That is something only someone who is brainwashed would say lol. secondly im criticizing the culture of the deobandi madaris not any specific scholar. i'm not disregarding any of the work that they have done for the ummah either. im simply saying we need to move away from this culture of suppressing intellectual thought and this rigid adherence to what the hazrat or buzurg has said. and yes many ulema encourage students to "think for themselves" but in reality they only allow it so much that they reach a preconceived understanding that is approved by the ruling elders. any more and they get reeled back in for "tarbiyah purposes". there's so much more to talk about but the video was advice for new students. maybe i'll make another one that goes more in depth. if we don't repair our structures then they will crumble in the storm.
