Show notes: This show was shot with an old school camera and the VHS-MPEG2 conversion didn't do the show justice. It was also filmed from far back and heads pop into the lower screen. Of the four shows I’m posting here this is one I forgot even existed. It’s not great quality (both video and audio) but for a festival show it featured a more upbeat setlist and there may be something fun to look back on with this performance.

I was at this concert one of the first concerts i went to... Almost 20 years since and i would go on to see Matt Good 4 more times and see 150+ different artists/bands live in concert since. This concert made me crave live music ever since. Thanks for uploading

TH-cam is like a time capsule that reflects where we are as a society today. The fact that Matthew Good is not considered a god of rock is simply sad. I still try to promote some of his greatest work and the response I get nowadays are “what the hell is this guy talking about?” Depth is as Matt would say “skin deep”
At the end of the day that maybe makes him better. Everyone knows the Rolling Stones and that makes it less special to me.
Had tickets for this tour for his show in Prince Edward Island. I had to travel from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. On the way, the winds and snow were too bad for the bus to cross the bridge, making me miss the show. I still have the unripped ticket. This is like seeing something I missed. Thanks!

No, last tour I attended was 2019 and didn't make it to the recent 2022 shows.
My heart of hearts 'misses'..... *THIS* version of Matthew. In case you don't know he couldn't play March '20 til April '22 like most artists. Then only like 6 dates in 2022 maybe. Now Feb.'23 and think on the books so far is 10 dates Jan. through Feb. lots in Alberta no doubt as is close to BC and can quickly get home here to help with his 3 kids.
