Well, good luck opening your door when it's out of battery.
almost all digital door locks specially branded locks has a low battery indicator and 9volt or usb power slot, it also has physical key for manual unlocking

Is it connected to an electric power supply or is it using a rechargeable battery? If it is connected to a power supply, how do you hide the wiring to the door? If it has a rechargeable battery, how long does it last and how do you recharge it?
it's using batteries yea, so no wiring required. Even house no electricity supply, it still works fine. And battery can last for about 1 year time
