MEA is really good but they are very expensive (for an average citizen) and comparing to many other airlines flying to the same destinations due to kindish monopoly by MEA owners that make it hard for budget airlines to operate in BEY leaving them pricing tickets high

Nice! But it doesnt look like your seat is 11A. I’m flying 11A in three days and i’m on the left, but it looks like your seat was on the right, perhaps 11E or F.

Great video, Now i own a few parts of her including a window cut section of fuselage, looks great on my wall however bit of shame it is not in the sky.

2020 turned out to be quite an eventful year, didn't it? This flight, this aircraft, wouldn't have been possible one year later on 1/1/21, or even just a few months later into 2020 as countries effectively shut down. I so miss the VS 747s although I was never lucky enough to sit upstairs on any of my flights with them. My last VS 744 flight was September 2019 MAN-JFK...like the person who made this video, didn't know it would be the last one at the time. They'll be missed (I also had quite an affinity for BA's B744s...)

All that flooded farm land near Sacramento is by design. When the Sacramento river gets too full, the Weir in West Sacramento opens and flood all the farm land between West Sacramento and Davis forming a massive inland sea. The Farmers get paid for the use of their land and it recharges their wells.

I’m not a fan of that livery either. I prefer the prior one ,the blue ,white ,and red tricolor with the AA and eagle on the rudder.

Loved the vid , but also hated it because watching take off always upsets me as it means the holiday is over and start the countdown till next time . Flew seat 22A last time i came back on English Rose , gonna really miss the 747 , had booked for Sept next year but have cancelled as i was hoping things would be back to normal but alas doesn't seem like they will be.

Brilliant report! I still don't know whether I'd rather sit in the nose in front of the cockpit or on the upper deck above everyone else...

I rode on Ship 6309 (N669US) many times with Northwest. I still remember all the beautiful Bowling Shoe livery 747s. I’m appreciative of Delta keeping one of Northwest’s signature aircraft as long as they did. I miss the NW/Delta 744s every day, but I can still try some ex Northwest 757s or A330s!
