    • @BornBearded
      @BornBearded 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Good morning Kevin, no worries comment when ever you have a question, i welcome the questions. So there are a few things to think about, first off on average a bearded guy has on average 30,000 hair follicles, if yo u have a thicker beard its almost twice that amount. I would say i lose between 5 to 20 per day. With that if the hair that is coming out has gone through its cycle it is normal. If there is a bulb at the end of the hair then its simply gone through its life cycle, but again this is normal. sometimes it is hard to even see the bulb. If its breakage that's something else to work through but most of the time we worry about losing the beard hairs especially if we have an area that seems thin. Don't worry about it to much when you consider the amount of beard hairs you have you will never notice the ones lost. One a short answer, you can lose 5-50 per day on average and it is normal. Make sure you have a good water intake that definitely helps with the health of your beard. Thank you for the question i hope this helps with the stress of losing the beard hairs. Thank you Born Bearded (Dave)

    • @BornBearded
      @BornBearded 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @derekarseneau2569 I agree that the brush may be more important during a short beard as it's growing, the comb for the shower is something I would still suggest, being once the boars hair brush is wet that's going to take some time to dry out and being the brush is porous I don't care for the thought of constantly getting it wet and setting to dry on the shower or restroom counter, now I will say the brush does amazing exfoliating when dry.

And I have a LOT of grey in my beard.. I’ve got a TH-cam channel where I’m constantly on camera, it’s this account that I’m leaving a comment with now.. I’ve been using beard dye pretty much the entire time I’ve been growing a beard, but I feel like it’s time to just let my natural beard color show.. what do you think? @@BornBearded I did last year make it to 8 months of growth, and experienced "bearded bliss" (which is a kind of primal satisfaction) but the daily maintenance routine started wearing on me, and I got mostly "old" and "homeless" comments, so I gave it up and went back to my usual short style. I admire those who grow them long and put in the effort to maintain them. Are you going to keep your current length or keep growing?

      The best beard is the one your most comfortable with. I do understand the Daily Maintenance thing as well, but any more its become a habit for me to get up in the morning and maintain the beard, like a habit of getting coffee first thing in the morning, brushing your teeth etc. I have gotten to the point where i have Become comfortable with my beard and myself, so I do aspire to continue to grow as long as i can, with that i do still work 5 days a week so it may also depend on that, but i don't see the issue with it for a while. • @BornBearded
      @BornBearded 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have absolutely nothing bad to say at all about Beard Octane, It is definitely a thicker beard butter as far as consistency but does well especially after the shower. I will say due to the thickness of it and most butters, a little goes a long way. So if the plan is to use it to add a little weight to your beard to help with the fly away's it will help with that as well. I have heard that some countries have a hard time getting the butter that is something i hope changes for you all. The Scent Liquid Gold is good it is mostly oud on the main and the leather creeps in and lasts for a good wile of course the scent is subjective but i do recommend trying it. Also if your looking for unique scents you really cant go wrong with Luxurious Bastard Beard oil balm, or butters, he has some of the most complex scents in the industry in my opinion but im not sure what the shipping would be. I appreciate the question and let me know what you think when you try it id love to hear your opinion on it. Awesome!!! Yea I think one of the biggest things I love about butter is the versatility of it by simply using more or less of the product. I found using a small amount in the morning really helped control the dryness and added the protections for this grey beard. Badass Beard Care is a company I have yet to try but they are definitely the list. Do you have Suggestions as far as scents that you like? Id love to hear about it. Thank you for the comment.

    Is there any sort of butter or oil that can stimulate hair growth?

      Your going to look into carrier oils such as avocado oil, Sweet almond oil that have natural biotins in it, as well as Jojoba oils, argan oil, Castor oil that promote blood flow. There are several Beard companies that offer Biotin Gummies that works well for both hair and nails, I do believe you can find the vitamin at your local big box store instead if it is something you would like to try, I will admit I haven't had a need for it so i cant tell you from personal experience. From some research that i have done looking into this before Rosemary oil is actually a contender with Minoxidil, although it is...well not a great scent, but if you were to find it in lets say a castor oil to promote blood flow thicker viscosity and a rosemary oil as a night routine getting these down to the skin under the beard at night when you sleep, rinse out in the morning and apply your daily beard oil may help. Thank you for the question I hope this helps.
