I still don’t understand how expensive it is to buy Goyard in the US. Bought mine in Paris and with the VAT refund its much Cheaper. Amazing wallet

Hi it’s a really nice piece but it’s not actually a wallet. It says in your receipt Porte-Cartes St Pierre 2 which means St Pierre 2 Card Holder. Portes-Cartes means Card Holder in French. Hence, it’s meant to be used as a card holder more so than a “wallet”.

When I think of LV I think of their iconic canvas. All their popular bags are in their signature canvas and if I’m going to spend that type of money on leather I would look into investment pieces from Chanel or Hermès so to steer away from what they are best known for isn’t the smartest idea IMO. One the other hand this is causing people to panic buy so if they do bring it back with a new look they will definitely sell. Either way I guess it’s a win for them? I’m glad I grabbed the 19 when I did but bummed I missed out on the 26 as that one is so iconic and seeing the late Princess Diana using it I wanted it just for that reason only. She has always been my style icon and inspiration. Which is also why I want a lady dior.

Congrats on scoring this bag, it's extremely hard to get. You can spray new vachetta with Apple Garde, I spray all my new leather with 2 coats. Many in the LV community do that to help keep water stains off their leather. I was curious how it would fit you as the straps aren't very long.

I bought a few BV bags in the late 2000s, so that era is sentimental to me. I still have my Campana and New Pyramid, I love their slouchiness and the lambskin on the Campana is incredible. I'm not a big fan of the new styles, but I'm sure that's only because I came to the brand when the CD was Tomas Maier.

LV is not discontinuing their canvas. They are raising their prices to focus on their core demographic.

I got the small puzzle bag last month in that sand/mink colorway and I LOVE it. I found it on Fashionphile for a few hundred under retail and looked like new. It's so understated and versatile!

Congratulations on finding your new toiletry pouches! I was able to buy the 19 and 26 about one week apart by stalking the LV website in the wee morning hours back in March of 2019. I use the 19 to hold makeup and other small essentials and the 26 as a catchall to keep things organized in my larger tote bags. They are great pieces, hopefully you can find a 26 to complete your collection.

I have the toiletry 15 and recently purchased the empriente toiletry 26 in scarlet which is stunning. I had the 19 size and didn’t really use it because of covid so sold it and now totally regret it 😭 New subbie here!

I pre order mine in Australia and waited 4months before it arrived on Christmas Eve. I nearly cancel mine 2 weeks before it arrived so lucky I got it before price increased.

Got mine at Stockx right after that I fi d out they're discontinued 😂 1060 CAD for 26 one 😥
