the quality of our refs/VAR stinks,,either they are corrupt(looking after the big 6),,or they are blind and useless at their jobs,,Bowen was clearly fouled all day long,,which changed the game,,just like the NOT corner vs Villa few weeks back,,with good officiating,,we would be in much better spot,,only seems to be teams like us and wolves etc that get these ridiculous decisions against us!!! Love seeing Scales , Orford and Gulherrme getting more minutes. Up against top top players, so they deserve all the credit. These boys will be learning so much under Potter and growing day by day.

The youngster gulherrme was a breath of fresh air. He was no headless chicken. He knew what he was doing and he did very well. His attacking intent had the Chelsea players surprised. To me, Gulherrme almost seemed like a January transfer window signing arrived out of the blue and was superb because he appeared out of nowhere because nobody has seen him. Well done young man.

It’s insanity that anyone think Kudus is a bad player. He is a phenomenal player in bad form, simple as that. We know what he can do, the sky is truly the limit. We just have to get him back on track after Lopetegui derailed his momentum. I trust Potter to do that.

I’m amazed that we’ve done any business at all. I’m pleased about JWP. I hope Ferguson does well, there’s uncertainty about him but nothing is a certainty in this game. I like Andy Irving, I know I’m on my own with that and we have other midfielders ahead of him. If he goes out on loan I hope he kills it. I’ve never heard of the Celtic player so can’t comment. He sounds fabulous though. Antonio probably won’t play again it’s a terrible thing to say but I think the club will see him Allright. I want a Centre half in, shame Webster rumour has died. Good show mate , With Antonio it was his own doing the club have no obligation and hes basically cost the club so i think hes done , and i agree hes been done for the past 3 seasons at least .

JWP is GARBAGE, no presence on the pitch other than set pieces where he is decent! Much prefer Andy Irving who is a tidy footballer and much more composed on the ball

We needed a striker full cover. I’m not particularly bothered about buying anyone else in this window. It’s a poor time to buy. It makes sense getting JWP back another body who will just do a job Potter and his sidekick can get the plans in place for the summer.

I get the Ferguson deal straight loan. It's a compromise. Brighton wanted 40 million, we wanted an option. Straight loan a compromise. Whilst his fee could go up or they sell to another club or keep him abd we train their player, for West Ham, we get a striker till the end of the season, hopefully go up the league a couple of places, protects us from buying an injured player and being stuck with him. End of the season we can review the situation and maybe sign a better player with more time on our hands.

Great late night chat James. I’ve always liked JWP, one of the few. Brighton couldn’t give Ferguson game time? I am glad he’s a loan because he’s a huge risk, ankle injuries are trouble and he’s had ACL tear and recently meningitis and chronic fatigue. It’s exciting though, Potter obviously likes him.

I think Potter is able to get the best out of pretty much anyone.. new lease of life for JWP, strengthens our midfield a bit, and in the summer, we sell him 🫧
