That wax may be good for knives and cutting boards, but you don't want to put any petroleum based products on leather goods, it can dry rot them.

I use a strop often, if you strop your knife in the morning, you rarely have to stone sharpen it, only for lots of use and abuse.

Great cpm3v knife but $320. What a rip off. Aliexpress you can get better steel 7cr17mov for only $17 just as good quality with added features to the hilt and jimping that are very useful. For knife that is made to take a lot of abuse 7cr17mov I see as better steel. While cpm3v is little bit softer steel 58/60HRC it holds edge well. 7cr17mov is 60HRC. It might loose just a bit on holding edge but it is easier to sharpen.

Nice to see you feeling better. My son just had stint of Lyme that he just got over. But yeah, I had COVID for the first time earlier this year and I wouldn't be surprised. Was like a low grade cold that lasted for over two weeks. Primarily a feeling malaise/weariness with a very runny nose. Never really got worse, but it just hung around for an annoyingly long time. Again though, you physically look way better.

Reminds me when you suspected I tampered the detent hole of my hinderer knife which turned out to be false.

I got one and the sheath is, well, I wouldn't say unusable, but not acceptable for me. Any soft jolt will release it from retention. I love the knife enough that I want to get a custom sheath for it.

Went to go stare and ponder a 3" xm-18, saw this and checked out with it moments later. Didn't even have time to leave a message for you guys. You're ruining me. Now I need to be good and wait for a 3"..

I'm just a dude, but from what I've seen you guys have a ton of love from the TH-cam community (especially MC) so I hope you decide to stick with it. I just got back into the game after being away for probably around 7 years. Ironically I got out right around the time that you were just starting to put out TH-cam videos the first time around. Yeesh, I just checked and I joined the channel nearly 11 years ago. Think you had like less than 50 subscribers at the time. Just picked up the 3.5" xm-18 you guys had up last night. Honest to God, you guys being on TH-cam was likely the primary reason I did. Well, and the knife of course. FWIW I stopped doing any form of social media back in 2008 (unless you consider TH-cam social media I guess) because of the manipulation going on by the platforms and the toxicity. Again, just input from "some guy", but I'd wager you'd find a more supportive group here and an entire community that would embrace you. You're extremely charismatic (at least to me) and watching your content is extremely relaxing. Suggestion - maybe you could contact Metal Complex and do like a joint stream podcast/interview hosted on his channel. That may be a way to get your channel some great exposure. From what I can tell he thinks very highly of you guys. I know I'd watch that.

I've been collecting knives all my life. There will always be haters. The problem with the internet is that a single complaint becomes gospel overnight. Have you heard "My Sebenza in S**V has some microchipping." It's just unnecessary. That's why I don't watch knife reviews. Thanks Whitty for being the voice of reason.

That is a great looking knife. Perfect size.

Tactile makes excellent knives. They are killing themselves by releasing products before extensive testing as they've done on multiple models now, but ultimately they seem to get it right if you have the patience to stick with them.

had a bad monkey with a tanto blade and emerson wave, cool knife but it had some pretty bad lock fail issues. i like this one too but i'm kinda hesitant after my experiences with the other one.
