Worcester is commutable to Boston which is great. Springfield is commutable to Hartford, which is ghetto. Worcester is growing, which makes it a good investment. Springfield is shrinking, a bad investment.

Idk, I've been to North Adams a number of times, and I dont think I'd want to live there. It's kind of rural, but it's still in MA. Like living in the mountains of MD but still having to live under the terrible laws passed by idiots living in Baltimore.

I stayed west Springfield 2002 - 2006 moved from hudson massachusetts I was jobless and got a job fast. then back to hudson again. if you live east of Central massachusetts economy Is not a struggle and crime is the #1 reason to move back to hudson. I knew not to look for an apartment over in Springfield I would have moved into a gad area. lots of wealth east of worcester so it is pretty safe. median home sale is very high though.
