Came right on time. Had just finished reading the Luke 1. I love so much the part when Elizabeth mets up with Mary and John in the womb is filled by the Holy Spirit🙏🏽 Reminds me God knows us from our mother's womb. He made us on PURPOSE for a PURPOSE!!

The NKJV, The Woman's Study Bible, Hardcover, Red Letter, Full-Color Edition, is the absolute BEST women's study Bible. I have a few women's study Bible, but this is my favorite and the one I always return to it. I also gave this one to several women; they said they love it!

I just started Luke with my dad because he saw people talking about doing it and he is brand new to reading the Bible!!! And so this is perfect!!!

It's amazing how this morning God placed it in my heart to take a social media cleanse for the month of December. And I also started a Luke Advent mini bible study with my kids. Blessings to you and the pregnancy🥰🙏🏽

What translation is the first Bible?

I have that NKJV Bible! I use mine a lot. The NKJV and NASB are my favorite translations. And this is a nice study method you presented; I'm sure people will find it useful.

I like being able to have different translations. I like a little one for travel....but I add into it...far from untouched. I will frequently purchase the least expensive....when I am at that place, I have a favorite that may get a rebind when the need happens.

The modern bible that is MOST like the King James Bible is actually the MEV (Modern English Version) and the New King James is more different because it used different manuscripts. If you don't feel comfortable with the King James but would like a bible as a standard to compare with, the MEV is pretty good with more modern wording.

Where did you get them?

I'm glad that you are allowing the Lord to guide you. In my journey, I don't wear any type of fake hair, no braids or twists. I can do a braid out or twist out. But no wearing of braids or twists of any kind. Not even one. I can't cut my hair unless it is a trim that the Lord approves of. I have long hair because I'm required too. I can wear jewelry, but im not wearing it right now. I can't wear earrings, necklaces, or any type of earrings from piercings. I can wear rings (not costly array) as well as bracelets/ankle bracelets. I can't get tattoos or more piercings. Neither do I have the desire for more piercings or to get tattoos. I don't have a tattoo. I wear all feminine clothes in the house and outside the house. No leggings, no sneakers, no male hats, no male aprons. No male, anything. I wear long sleeves, shirts thats either to my neck or turtle necks. Im high chested. I wear skirts to my ankles. No high heels but flats like ballet shoes. I can wear boots with heels but a certain length and width. No stilettos. I have to even cover my feet. Certain things are for everyone, and certain things are just for me. I can't wear dresses because i have a high backside. If I want a robe, it's a dress for the house only. I veil for prayer. I'm suppose to veil for prophesing and the church. But I haven't worn my scarf for prophesy and church yet because of an isolation i'm on and the season i'm in. My nails are natural. I don't wear any type of nail polish, not even clear. I don't wear make up period or fake eyelashes. I'm encouraged to see women and men, but mostly women doing what the Lord wants them to do and posting about their journey and testimony. You dont know how hard it is to find women videos without all this additional stuff from the world, whether it might be. It's an inspiration to see people that are following the Lord and hearing his voice and calling for them. 😊

I agree. I have a few with sentimental value but the rest I bought to fill a void. I’m giving them all away to goodwill. My name in it and notes and all!!!!!

Love your message about overconsumption. I just started collecting Bibles and all of them have a purpose but I also know that majority will be given away for birthday presents and more! All of your Bibles are beautiful! I'm excited to showcase mines and so far I gifted my sister and cousin a Bible! I have one other Bible I know I won't use and will most likely gift to my other cousin! I'm very much excited. Learning to walk into humility!!!

Yes! The Lord layed it on my heart that I was buying/ studying too many devotionals, and I couldn't retain what I was reading. My husband also explained to me that if I study too much, then I won't see/hear what the Lord is teaching me in that moment. I also have many bibles, and I also use the bible app for different translations. Also, thank you so much for the prayer journal outline! It has helped tremendously! 🥰

I'm a collector since I was a child collected keychains. I have a collection now of handbags.All different types, they are higher priced than they were when I was nineteen.... I still have a collection of miniature shoes.... They don't make him anymore.I would still collect them.... It is something that brings me joy and including bibles. I have a couple and I have a few more coming, because there's gonna be a collection but it's not just a random because it's technically pretty.I mean, that might have something to do with it... But unless you're being convicted of it, he wants you to enjoy the things including the bibles, because they are beautiful or they come from a location or I would rather pick up a bible at your next vacation trip than a snow globe. But if he's not convicting you but other people are......
