The most important painting at the Louvre is the wedding of Jesus and Mary Magdalene not the Mona Lisa.

It's changed allot, I lived there for 3 years from 1999 to 2002

Great for someone who most likely will not ever visit the Louvre. The only offputting thing about it would be the crowds (take it that it's like that all the time). And, as any art lover knows, the pictures will do, where an in-person experience can't be had (the whole Art Book Industry depends on that reality).

Am I missing something? It seems the camera often doesn't stop on the interpretive text so I can't read about the object I'm seeing.

I was born in Luton. After my mother passed away in 1964 aged 33 yrs, my father decided to start a new life for myself and my two brothers and we left for Australia in 1966. My grandmother Nanna Thorn lived at 2 Jubilee Street and had a little corner store. My uncles Peter and Terry Thorn had a business Thorn Plumbing. My great grandfather Private Boskit has his name on the war memorial outside the town hall. He was killed in action in Flanders in WW 1. He is buried in France with an unknown soldier in his grave with him. I am so sad to see what Luton has become. One of my sons travelled to London with his partner in 2019 and I said he should visit Luton. Friends in London told him, you just drive through Luton, you do not stop there anymore. So sad. Just where near we lived was a little shopping centre with a supermarket, a butcher, green grocer and an Italian barber. He would give my brothers short back and sides. He would put a plank of wood on the chair arms for me to sit on so he could give me the same haircut! I just wanted to be like my brothers😄

I grew up in these beaches, there have a dog I never forget, the kids threw a stick on the water the swim to pick it up, and we hold on him. Brazil is a very fun country to live in. I see a lot first world countries become worse them a lot of places on the "third world'.
