By his back story Leatherneck was drafted into the Army during Viet Nam, and later Joined The Marines , that's why he sports the Army chevron
I like the Doc. I think thats morphine on his head for the injured troops. But also, Vartan and Leatherhead remind me exactly of my old G.I. Joe toys from the 80's/90's ...same as Doc. He looks the same to me.

I've been collecting G.I. Joe since ARAH came out in the early 80s. I've always loved the Vipers. I've been waiting for a Classified series S.A.W. Viper. Now I REALLY want a Night Viper.

@Throwbackstoys I've always been fond of the Vipers and Crimson Guardsmen. I was happy when they finally made a Night Creeper and Iron Grenadier. The 88 to 90 runs were loaded with all the best Vipers.
