Watch Out Vegas by Her Words Kill
Hardcore thrashing noise-scapes punctuated by bursts of screams, melodies and dreamy atmospherics. Brutal rhythms sit side by side with more spacey tripped-out, alternatives breaks… that was Her Words Kill.
Her Words Kill were originally formed in Hertfordshire, UK in 2002 as a three members band. Their first shows exhibited a UK hardcore styling to their music, but their music evolved into the more technical and complicated music showcased on their released material.
They released 1 EP, and 1 album in their 5 year existence.
2004 saw the release of a three-track demo 'I Will Not Die Her Hero', on December 28th. Their debut full length album 'Load My Revolver, Baby' was released, on October 1st 2005 through You, Me Records.
In 2006 the band lost a couple of members and recruited two members, of Guernsey live favourites, 'The Mid Carson Coalition' to join their ranks as the local boys were relocating to the UK for university.
In the past, they have played shows with the likes of The Blackout, Bring Me the Horizon and Enter Shikari.
The band disbanded mid 2007 and Luke Pickett branched out as a solo artist; Luke Vidamour and Ollie Smith still feature in the line up of Pickett’s touring band.
