This train tour was part of Steamrail Victoria's tour on the Lilydale line, with shuttles between Lilydale & Ringwood Stations.
its K153's 50th year anniversary in preservation, its first tour was on the now closed Healesville Line.

its a X'Trapolis 100 train that goes 130kmh. but most only go 100

Excellent video. Just one slight criticism, I would have not used such a wide angle lens setting myself.
im using a dji pocket 3, you can't change lens setting. the built in fixed lens is Equivalent to 20 mm.

Used to ride it way back in the 50's and 60's, when it was overgrown and certainly not a designated bike/walking track. At 2.57 you can see the steel bridge (and brick abutment) which crossed the railway track. Back then it was only partially blocked off and kids could access about five metres under High Street. Much underage smoking and drinking took place, along with much heavy petting and probably some fornication as well. The XXX grafitti was a site to behold!
