This car's V-Max is 190 or 188 not 205, Don't rely on the clock speed because it always distorts the real speed. I have the same car but with facelifting 2008 but I got the same engine and I've also tried top speed with an application that shows the actual speed not distorted
not even 3000 rpm at 130km/h? :O
It's in S mode so it'll hold the RPM higher. In D mode you can achieve a lil under 3000 RPM
how reliable is this gearbox?
its most reliable followed by dct and tc
Had this car for 8 months now and it’s very reliable little maintenance and I’m catching up with most cars too it’s deffo not a slowbox

to much rpm for a diesel max power output is at 4000 rpm. After that the torque is falling down

Goes the shift works quicker than the auto mode?
A CVT doesn't shift at all.
Why is that?
@@fv7765 Google VCT transmission, it has "endless" gears and is always in auto mode.
@@fv7765 because it has only virtual "gears".
@@Luke.Skywodka Actually, it does shift. It changes the gear ratio when operating the paddles.

I have the same car with the 1.6cc 115 ps engine. Within town it seems a little bit slow but in the highway you get a decent travel. Although I believe it would be better if the engine was a bit faster. The previous car that I had (a peugeot 307 1600 110 ps) was much faster than Focus.
Remember, lighter car.
1.6 zetec mk1 faster than focus mk2 tdci because , mk1 lighter car.
