Why do cars let you get into an accident
มุมมอง 92ปีที่แล้ว
Over the years I've told this story and gradually let Craig be 7 at the time because it just didn't seem possible that he was 5. I just came across this home video. It was recorded in 1994 when he was almost 5 years and 4 months old. The question he asked while we were driving somewhere was "Why do cars let you get into an accident?" I asked him a bunch of questions about what the car would nee...

Excellent description and demonstration of HL control. Thank you for providing this!
Thanks. This was somewhat limited to our test setup. We are hoping to do another version that gets into the history/reason for the transition from “K” control. Also when the reverser becomes operational we’ll add that in. Any comments on format and content are greatly appreciated.
Absolutely terrific guys. To have the stones to cover this song at a young age and kill it is awesome.
Curious what these guys are up to today.
You guys are awesome!!!!!!!!
This kids are going places, I Already know it.
This ain’t an easy piece, at any age. Really nice job. 👍
Am I the only one who was waiting Kurt Hugo Schneider here? lol
Holy crap I was not expecting this
Great cover keep up the good work
I think Billy Joel would be honored by this❤❤❤
AWESOME
The drummer looks like Jason Biggs.
I'm digging it in 2021 reminds me of every high-school band or those who wanted to be in a band. HIGH SCHOOL GOOD TIMES
Those guys all got laid on prom night for sure.
Damn that audience needs to shut the hell up
le saxophoniste perturbe l'ensemble !....
I gotta say all in all this was a damn good performance! They all brought their all and added some of their own flair to this timeless classic making it their own in a sense and have having fun with it. The saxophone player took his own route in some parts of the song but still being faithful to the mood and energy of the song. It’s been a over a decade since this performance but I hope that they kept up with music because this was brilliant!
Very good
Thumbs up before it starts. Doesn't even matter.
I really loved that performance. You can tell that they put their heart and soul into it
Helluva job, fellas! As for the haters, fugeddaboudem. Capisce? ;) A nice surprise out of a random youtube video! I loved this song as kid, when it came out. Y'all did great.
Great job, I grew up on Long Island NY in the seventies, and now as an adult living out of state, whenever I need to connect with my NY roots, I go right to Billy Joel's "The Stranger" it's a slice of home and the past all in one album.
As a fellow SAX player we are always going to make the song better with our own touch
That was incredible 💯💯
Daym, a decade later... Time sure flies...
Magic
Coming from a life long Billy Joel fan.....not bad at all guys, not bad at all
This is solid but I have to agree that the sax weighs the overall performance down. Bass player also probably should’ve taken all the lead vocals. The piano player is not a bad singer I just think the bass player brought a lot more energy and dynamics to it vocally
Bass player knows how to sing. You can tell in his projection and his control.
@@charliemac64 yes
@@charliemac64 The Bass player headed off to Nashville after graduation. This was the first time the piano player ever sang solo, and we hadn’t seen him sing in public since about the third grade.
@@theeatonskbunk Oh, I'm not slaggin' on anybody. It takes guts to get up on stage at that age and perform in front of your peers. I was merely noting the bassist's vocal ability was definitely miles ahead. Still an awesome performance! I wish I had the balls at that age to do that. :)
@@charliemac64 Didn't think you were. They all did a great job.
amazing
everyone on point 👍
FishmasterDisaster not the sax
@@Ilovekghimothy Eh he did really well
FishmasterDisaster he didn’t play the parts right, but for his age it was good.
@@Ilovekghimothy The original solo is done on a different instrument then the sax. Its impossible to play the solo on a sax, so he made his own thing.
Stop fucking screaming bitches... btw great cover
Obviously the guitar player is the star. Piano player is fine, but a bit robotic. The saxophone player is so annoying that it almost seems like his pretty good playing was prerecorded.
The only problem I have with this cover is that the sax guy didn’t play any part right
He definitely could have if he had tried, I think. But I found myself still waiting for those epic sax melodies.
I’m sorry but can those kids please stop screaming every minute like I’m trying to listen to the song 😂
You are missing the point. Their friends are playing for the senior class in their high school gym. They have to scream! That's what you remember from high school. "I was playing and all my friends were screaming for me."
This was slightly painful to listen too, mainly on the part of the sax. I will say that covering any Billy Joel sound is an undertaking. Especially this song which to me is basically two to three songs in one. The singer is okay but could have used some practice. Not too bad.
About 3 hours of practice, 1200+ in the audience, and the piano player had not sung in public since probably the 3rd grade. I think they did more than ok.
@@theeatonskbunk okay pop off
@@theeatonskbunk i think they sound awesome and the crowd loved it!
What a shit audience! Screaming every 5 seconds! Then clapping out of time!
Not bad, the Sax ruined the performance.
Sax man has to stop trying to 'look cool'. Girls dig sax. Trust me.
Wow! Superb cover - the vocals and sax are spot on!
The sax player T_T"
That Saxophonist cracks me up
Honestly pretty good, nice work
Fuckin killed it lol
Really good cover, sax player too concerned about looking good than sounding good! Sorry, but it’s true
all sax players are like this though, guess that is the mood mood you have to be in to play a good sax
@@nvl2158 But HE isn't playing a good sax....
Sounded great guys!
Screw all the negative comments. It was beautiful, well done. Everyone who played
👍👊
damn i aspire to be like this lol
Beautiful thunderheads but my God that must've been terrifying
They rushed it a little, but considering their age, this was very impressive. Nicely done.
Hehehe “rush” I like your profile pic bro
