Welcome to Hybrid Touring. We are Elliot, Sharon, Haven and our doggie, Lexi.
We consider ourselves 'Hybrid' because Elliot (and Lexi) is from Canada, Sharon is Australian, and Haven is a blend of both; but also because we travel in a hybrid caravan, which gives us the best of both worlds - a bit of luxury and convenience, and the ease to venture off road.
This channel will feature our adventures around WA for now, while we plan for our big lap around Australia.

We spend five nights at RAC Monkey Mia Resort, barely touching the surface of the Shark Bay Region. From the dolphins and Francois Peron National Park, to Shell Beach, Eagle Bluff, and Hamelin Station, we fell in love with the area and can't wait to return to explore it more.

WA NORTH 22 Day Trip: Part 3 We spend almost a week exploring some of the epic attractions of Exmouth and Cape Range National Park. Basing ourselves from Yardie Homestead Caravan Park (with one night in the Exmouth Overflow Campground) we visited Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, Yardie Creek Crossing, Sandy Bay, Oyster Stacks, Turquoise Bay, Exmouth town and water park, and the SS Mildura Shipwreck.

@@HybridTouring Yep, plus 45 degree days. Never had to run from the truck to the shade before. Only down under!
