My parents youst to take us down there when I was a little kid. I was 5 in 73 and remember it well. We made a couple trips down to Cabo it looked like a small fishing village. We had buggys and dirt bike. I'm thankful That I was able to experience it

I seem to recall Holman and Moody fielding a Winnebago (?) race unit, 4X4 and it had a working shower!

There was a team who did this from the town I lived and worked that year (Ben Lomond, CA); called "Bill Brenchley Racing" [not sure if the last name is spelled correctly]. Every heard of them?

Thank you Baja Bill! That was my first Baja race to watch and I am glad there are some folks who like to see the early days of off road racing. I have a couple of photos taken in Ensenada the day before the race of Rod Hall and Parnelli Jones posted after the video clip on Baja Nomad forums, here: forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=80832 Also, I was at Mike's Sky Ranco the following July for Score's first Baja race and have many photos of that in another thread on Nomad.
