Belive this or not back when she won her first George Ryder everyone thought she was going straight into the QE, but I had a feeling that Waller wanted to win the 2 big Handicap miles so sportsbet had her in the All In Field for the Doncaster for $8 with doubtful in brackets so I knew a few guys from down Rosehill im not a name dropper and they said Waller will be running her in the Doncaster, so you know how All In Works you back her and she doesn't run you lose your money. So I had $5000@$8 and was a nervous wreck for a week and a bit then it was announced that she was going to the Doncaster, thank God so she jumped at $1.70 and here I was sending out copies of my bet of $5k at $8 and that my friend was the biggest risk i tool on a All In Field but you just have to go with your gut, let me tell you it was a great night on Doncaster night. $40k. Sportsbet would have been burning, but $8 with doubtful usually means dont go near them but she was still maturing, she would have won the QE aswell. But I had $1000 on her in this Cox Plate at $4.20. But besides the money what a complete legend of the turf. The best we will ever see and no horse will ever win 4 Cox Plates in a row, no horse besides FOO will run in 4 Cox Plates period just goes to show how well managed she was, she could have won 5 what a clash it would have been with the Jap girl Lys G. But Winx would have still blown her awag

Three wide whole trip, gets knocked down twice then categorically puts them to bed by lengths. You just can't get over that sinking feeling knowing she would have towelled Frankel or Enable or anything else for that matter, but they were all too scared to come and race her. Now history says she is the best ever and you bagging her will never change that.

And the fact you are watching her videos 4 and 5 years after the event speaks volumes.

@@nickbunt2209 Mate, this field was so weak they had to raise the minimum weight 4kg to 56 just so they could pretend it was a group one. You may think Winx was the greatest and she may have been but we’ll never really know because she racked up that fantastic record running against muppets 98% of the time. Bullet Train would have beaten Sons of John and Ecuador

@@nickbunt2209 In fact, I think she set a weight carrying record for a mare in this race with 1 kg over the minimum weight. LOL Australian racing has been a joke at anything over more than 1200m for the past 12-14 years. It’s no surprise that a decent horse racked up a long winning streak against a bunch of numpties. She won about 5 good quality races and about 28 donkey races. Great achievement to keep it going so long, not a great achievement beating Sons of John, Ecuador, Ungrateful Ellen, Kermadec, Red Excitement and so on. History says she was the best horse in Australia between 2015 and 2019. That’s all history says mate. By the way, Frankel had been in the breeding barn for 2 years by the time Winx started winning races. Excellent display of racing knowledge. Not sure why his connections were so scared of Winx to not drag him out of the stallion box and ship him to Australia at 7 or 8 to take her on???
