After Flint got the sick deer on its feet, it ran off. We don't know what might have been wrong with it.

Flint came across this sick deer just east of Tenakee Springs. He lifted the deer up a couple times until it finally was able to run off.

A very difficult job of jacking up, supporting, and then pouring a foundation down to something really solid for Len Ceders cabin. Deepest hole (five feet) dug so far was right under the center of the cabin.

There appears to be a tight, but negotiable fissure on the left of the sump. A drysuit would be needed.

This water system services some of the residents of Tenakee Springs, Alaska.

This is a stainless filter with lots of surface area for a water system intake. It slides over a stainless pipe that is cast into a small concrete dam on bedrock. Mesh bags of gravel pack around and atop the filter, and then larger rock. Water gravity feeds into a 1500 gallon tank situated so when the tank is full, the dam overflows.
