More mindfulness, more life. One breath at a time. Hey there! My name is Matthew Kaharudin. I'm an aspiring meditation teacher, a research specialist at the Center of Healthy Minds, and part-time photographer. Just trying to use my free time to talk about meditation and personal development - two things I'm most passionate in learning about. I hope that through my experiences, you can learn something new!
Why I’m Grateful for Life in Madison, Wisconsin
Gratitude is a crucial part of living a happy life. There’s been so much research done on it, and I wanted to practice gratitude by making this project to commemorate my year in Wisconsin, Madison. Even though it has been difficult to find a community here, there are definitely positives I could spend more time focusing on, so here is my second gratitude project!

มุมมอง 493 หลายเดือนก่อน

Here are some challenges and solutions to those challenges when trying to incorporate a meditation practice in o...

Why This Was The Worst But Best Thing That Happened To Me
มุมมอง 2549 หลายเดือนก่อน
Eight years ago marked a turning point in my life. Starting as an unmotivated teenager, it brought me down to having incessant feelings of despair and hopelessness. Although the experience wasn't something I necessarily want to relive, it was definitely one of the most meaningful periods of my life. Without this period of time, I wouldn't be living a life I'm happy to live today. for any girls ...

"When these kind of feelings of panic or depression, melancholy, start to invade my mind space, I'm actually kind of trained to look at it in a more objective sense and stop taking these emotions so personally." I love love love this quote, especially the last part! I wrote it down in my journal and it will stay in my journal / quote collection loop for probably ever :]

Thank you for your comment!
This was extremely informative and helpful! Thanks man!!
thanks for the input, you're the best
I’d rather be able to anticipate success than make any New Year’s resolutions. I think the reason people usually break New Year’s resolutions by the time January is over is because those people kind of wait until the last minute to make those resolutions. You should plan ahead soon enough so that you can get into practice before it’s too late!
well said!
I can't wait to try this!
Nice
Dope video man

One of the first videos in a while that I've watched all the way through, and I don't regret it at all. You articulate yourself really well, and you took a seemingly mundane topic and made it really interesting! Looking forward to what you produce in the future.
