This is probably (and unironically) the better of the many ai song covers ive been seeing pop up, just due to the clearer voices and generally better audio that most ai voice cover vids ive seen fall into. Namely ones where the characters that the ai is supposed to be mimicking tends to come off as too robotic sounding.

The software made to use this was open-source as well as the voice model as long as you credit the original creator. Nothing was stolen...

My point was that making an AI cover is adding an unneeded step because the whole point of vocaloid is making music with them. It's like if you made an AI cover of a piano playing a song written to be played on a piano
@@cinnamonkittamon "adding an uneeded step" bro do you actually know how hard it is to make songs/covers in vocaloid, let alone good sounding ones? lol... ai covers with vocaloid voices are actually super interesting and i'm sure that it was the first thing that popped into every vocaloid user when RVC was released. this is the only way to have a realistic sounding english cover with vocaloid voices tbh. it is possible to make her pronounciation sound "realistic" only to a certain point, which is kinda sad. not to mention all of the languages that are hard or impossible to replicate with japanese voicebanks. vocaloid really did get behind because of synthV having all those new mechanisms and tools, so this really is an interesting way to mess and play a little and create something new with something we already know. in my opinion coolest things to experiment as of now is to make covers in synthV (so the tuning work is still your work, even if it's not SO hard as it would be using vocaloid) and transforming the vocals into miku or another vocaloid. it's almost as if they were in synthv lol 😭

well with ai it can analyze a set of vocal recordings and make a voicebank. vocaloid with tech was left behind while synthv was frist to use it. the problem use ai to make model of recording is copyright and ethical issues because you may not allow to use it.
