I live in Mesa and have ridden those trails. I really liked the trails north and east of Saguaro Lake into the Watta Ridges. I put on a 2 day event of 3 stages with people from mostly Arizona. I had low entry fee so just small prizes but the 45 people who came had a great time. There were no motors on any bikes back then, maybe in late 1970's or early 1980's but we had a blast riding the trails! I have a love of human powered vehicles. I have ridden 350 miles in 2 days with a homemade mountain bike I built . I have also built trailers to tow behind my bicycle.

Cool Ride. We have an EMTB group over here in Goodyear/Estrella Mountain Ranch. We've done FINS (Fantasy Island North SIngletrack), most of the Pirate Trails in and around Estrella Regional Park, and now we're looking to expand our rides to other areas. We'd love to hook up with you guys sometime to investigate the trails on the eastside. A few of us did Go John up in Cave Creek earlier this year (what a bear!) and have been thinking of hitting some of the trails in McDowel Regional Park this Fall. Can't properly tell on different hulls with different props, but the HP/lb of the 2 stroke is hard to argue against.

2 strokes rule, 4 strokes drool. No arguing with more horsepower per pound, sound awesome rung out and the smell is heaven.

So much filler in so little time.

im fortunate enough to have a ridden an ebike for 25km yesterday (my friend sells them ). pedal down and i felt the surge of power from the motor, just amazing . we literally blasted up and down the hills with minimal effort . and i was fresh even after an epic day of riding. if you asked me if E-mtbs are cheating...i'd say for myself who is still healthy and able bodied, yes its cheating as far as cardio is concerned. skill wise its just the same , if not just a little more difficult. but however my friend he just got a knee surgery 3 months ago and the e-mtb is absolutely instrumental in helping him get fit and happy.

It looks more like your amygdala , the little thing in your brain that is responsible for your " fight or flight" response closed the throttle for you instead of any of the Ducati electronics. For evidence of said Amygdala response, see the rest of the ride spent in 6 gear, where the rider is safe from fear of wheelies. Yes this once fearless rider no longer can wheelie in flop flops as he once did.
