great jeans, I think my German Ivy is over 6' now. It will be heartbreaking to prune him back to bring him in this Fall.
@@krisyallowega5487 wow! That must be gorgeous at 6’! Just remember plants tend to grow back even stronger and fuller after cut so no need to worry 🙂

Thank you! This took about 2 months and I’m obsessed with it! I’m convinced that my daily pep talks and compliments helped it grow to such a beauty, but the orchid did all the hard work here 😂

Ooooo! Love this. How did you treat the monstera back when it had bugs on it? How did you get rid of them? I'm learning... 😊🥰
I was cleaning like a mad woman! 😂 every day I used and insecticide spray for houseplants on it and wiped the leaves and stems. I also cleaned the room it was in and all my other plants were inspected and wiped down with a mixture of water, peppermint oil, and soap. Most bugs hate mint so a drop in a spray bottle with water and soap helps. I actually use that on my plants every couple months and it smells good and I really never have a bug problem.
@@Plain_LadyJane Oh wow - so much good information. Thank you. The first time I had a problem with bugs I didn't know what it was, someone told me to was the plant with dish soap. I got all these webs on a rosemary, though - that's a lot of tiny leaves! And then it spread to all the other plants I had at the time. I will keep in mind about mint, though. I have essential oils, including peppermint oil. I'll make a mixture like yours and start using it preventatively on my plants... 💖☺

Hi! I have since taken more off of this plant and made two new smaller pots from it (both growing quickly!) and the main plant is growing so fast I’m going to need to cut it back again or find somewhere higher to put it because it’s nearly touching the floor. I’m amazed!
