    Hi Shawn, Thank you for your video; very informative. I have a question, I am a hotelier, and we have 3 -4 storage rooms and 3 basements where we keep our small to large supplies inventories. Most of the time, inventories get misplaced or mislocated from storage A to storage B due to human errors, and sometimes, after part use of the supplies it becomes difficult to maintain the balance of supplies.. my question is with AB & R tags, are they expensive and do they carry ION batteries tags or can they be barcoded and tracked? as you mentioned of its life for 3-5 years can the same tag be used multiple times to track for ex on heavy equipment like snow blower, power flush machines.. and beside that how do this help me and my staff to locate the new supplies and partly used supplies? are these tags can be tracked thru any special reader or device? Pl advise and thanks again for your time...

      @TeamRFID ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mihir, Thank you for your questions! We carry hundreds of tags at different price points depending on whether they are active or passive, the environment you are tracking items in, and more. Our tags do not use ION batteries and can be barcoded as well. We want to speak with you more about your use case. Please contact us at www.abr.com/contact, so we can learn more about your requirements and get you in touch with a specialist. Thank you, and we look forward to helping you track your inventory!

      Hello, thank you for your question, and pardon our delay. Yes, that is possible. You can uniquely identify your shirt colors with an Electronic Product Code (EPC) for each tag. If you would like to discuss your project in-depth with an RFID engineer, you can contact us at abr.com/contact.

    What about 2D barcodes? (like GS1 datamatrix and QR codes) that can then hande GS1 digital link. I think these will be the future in a lot of cases. RFID would be the ideal but it is sometimes prohibitive, depending on the product/business, but they still need to be scanned by consumers as this is common practice now which means NFC in phones and a learned behaviour to wave, like we do with contactless or we keep a barcode on there too.

    • @TeamRFID
      @TeamRFID 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lorna, we absolutely agree. Barcoding is still a viable solution, especially when you consider the QR code's growing applications. Some of our solutions have even incorporated both barcode and RFID to capture the strengths of each system. It all comes down to your use case and environment.

    Why can't I print a 4x6 label on a ZP450 with 300 or 600 DPI? If I choose 300 or 600 it prints oversized. Zebra software is bizarre. After 5 years I still question what my printer is going to do every time I print something.

    • @TeamRFID
      @TeamRFID 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, thank you for reaching out. Thermal transfer printers such as the ZP450 can only print with the DPI quality of the installed printhead. The ZP450 printer can only print at 203 DPI. If the DPI is set to another level, the print will appear enlarged or reduced. If your printing issues persist or you need a printer with higher DPI capabilities, please reach out at abr.com/contact (edited for completeness)

    If I want to add RFID reading tool to my android app, how can I do it?

    • @TeamRFID
      @TeamRFID 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sameer, thank you for your question. In order to read tags, you will need to connect an RFID sled to your phone via Bluetooth. For an Android app to work with RFID, we recommend downloading a Software Development Kit (SDK) from a provider like Zebra or Honeywell, and incorporating it into your Android application. Can uwb anchors track the phone instead of tags ??

    • @TeamRFID
      @TeamRFID 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sunil, No, a phone cannot be tracked with UWB because UWB technology is not included in a cell phone. There are several form factors for UWB tags from small to large. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) systems can track a cell phone using the Bluetooth that is built in to current cell phones. Standard BLE would track a phone or BLE tag in zones, however, we do have a system that can track the device with very accurate location, within as small as a 3ft range, using a custom BLE.
