The British Empire brought alot of wealth to the countries it colonized. I am from Aden. Aden was a British colony. The country lived it's most prosperous times. The British during the unrest in Aden in the early 60s, did rarely use life ammunition on civilians. The British Army had an engagement code of conduct and the lads were very disciplined . People of Aden regret the exit of the British from the country.

I'm proud of what the left wing has done for our country. Such the NHS, social housing, education for all. We have to try not to be taken over by sick capitalist USA culture, from Tories needing to keep our economy closely linked with USA banks, encouraging greed and debt, so our economy crashes every few years. Which they will then use as excuse to make anybody suffer not any use at being a slave for the upper classes, bankers and their tax dodging donors.

As an English person, I'm jealous that Scotland can have a brighter future by demanding another referendum to break from UK, to be free of Tories and ex Tories in UKIP who only work for the few at the top, to become a separate nation in the EU, joining other north European nations without Tories who have free university education, with governments who aren't in a war trying to protect the interests of the few at the top, where Eton and Bullingdon Club members give each other top jobs to live for free on expenses, while telling the poor they're not working hard enough just to survive. While people in England end up crying on Question Time because all they know about politics is last Tory propaganda headline they read, thinking Tories care about British people, while not remembering they have harmed more British people and society than anything else. Most anti EU politicians want to leave so British people can be treated worse and so the class system isn't affected. The ex Tory banker Farage was paying his foreign wife on tax payers expenses and hiding money in Switzerland. Germany did opposite to Tories in 1980s, by creating jobs with good pay. Germany didn't encourage many to live in debt, like the British Chancellor Nigel Lawson in the early 90s when the economy crashed, after Tories made millions unemployed and left Britain an economy based on little more than being closely linked with USA banks encouraging greed and debt, for economy to crash by early 90s when many couldn't pay back debts they were encouraged to have. Our economy crashes every few years since after the USA. Even Iceland now realise after their country was affected by the USA mortgage crisis that they should be more closely linked with the EU than the USA. Nigel Lawson whose foreign family came here as criminals escaping their own country, and like Boris Johnson's family changed their name to sound British, was recently advising Britain leave the EU, while he was applying to live in France. Tories always make the rest of the world hate England for reasons only the few at the top gain from, going along with USA arming extremists in what liberal middle east countries are left. Such as when David Shayler told how British government were funding A Q eda in Libya against Gaddafi, while not caring about human rights abuses of Saudi Arabia. They will tell English people it's in their best interests to not have any human rights. We won't have sophisticated European food that can be traced back to historical origin. We will become like the USA where they put wood shaving into cheese. Look at the labels in the USA section of a supermarket, where EU compliant labels are put over the ones shown in the USA. EU labels have to show genetically modified and other ingredients not stated in the USA.

You still use the word left as an insult, like you got the meaning from The Sun or ED L supporters. Yet you live in social housing a left concept, maybe on benefits and use the NHS, other left ideas. Those people who wanted to leave the EU as wanted less people here from Pakistan, didn't realise that if we have less Europeans here, we will have more from other places. Which is why we now have Indians and Pakistanis in the government running our country, because the people speaking against the EU didn't know what they were talking about.

Hi Paul.. I think its gotten this bad because they have no fear of punishment, not being shown respect to know what respect is, parents not allowed to chastise their kids without someone telling them they are doing it wrong.. My youngest daughter has adhd and autism and was always picked on by the children and some teachers... She's the naughty kid... Not helping her because she doesn't want to learn.. The didn't recognize she had a problem with the way they were teaching.. I agree you have to start when the kids are young, don't give them stuff because you want them to be quiet and stop bugging you, teach them the right way.. Give them choices and consequences..

Great video,Paul. For me who is also on the autistic spectrum, employment has been very difficult especially when I've been unemployed for a year and a half. It is very frustrating and annoying when receiving the same answers over and over again. It fucking frustrates so much. Sorry for swearing,but it sometimes makes me feel like that. It's bloody unfair and there always will be discrimination.

Scrapping the licence fee is not going to make amends for the likes of Saville. Those types of people exist in all types of employment unfortunately and so it's not something that just existed within the BBC. As for blocks of adverts, no-one is going to want to sit through that! They would just switch over and watch something else less boring instead. Personally, I've grown tired of being force-fed adverts. The licence fee is not just for the BBC, but for all live content regardless of what channel you are watching. If you didn't watch any live tv and just watched catch-up (excluding bbc iplayer) then you don't need a licence. I applaud the BBC for showing diverse and inclusive content. Some of it's not for me, but I'm not going to bregrudge others from enjoying it and being educated by it.
