I truly wonder how many times this actually happens in real life . As a much younger man I know I missed out on a few opportunities to ask out a beautiful girl due to feeling inadequate but looking back , she all but asked me out . I was just too shy and good girls didn’t push boys . Especially really good looking girls ! What a dork I was for that . I never had that problem since . She was a lifeguard at my pool and was beautiful , inside and out ! I wish her the very best .

Why couldnt the girl say it to him ?

It's like he went "back in time" to change the horrible, lonely ending his life trajectory was on. ❤ I believe even a shy man, must find a way to communicate that he loves a woman.

After ruminating on the words in this poem, I want to say that there is a rather unfair expectation from the girl. "I hope he can read my signs..." In my experience, girls signs are ridiculously subtle to the point of not being an "observable" sign. Girls: I walked by him and totally gave him the quick glance...surely he knows how much I like him. Ladies! That is absurd. We men do not know what you are thinking in a glance! It has been said in a video, If men are worse at communication why do women expect men to read body language rather than be direct? Likewise, are men expected to be mind readers? Yes? Is there a difference between what women say they want in a relationship and what they really respond to? Yes? Then how are women better communicators? Women, quit using these stupid signs and expecting us men to know what you are saying, thinking, or feeling!

I am from India... and its my favourite film from last 10 years... I have watched this film more than 100 times. Today I saw it after a gap of few years and loved it same way as i did first time ❤😊

We were best friends for 4 years before we dated. He told me he liked me the whole time and I eventually reciprocated the feelings and confessed how I felt. All that just for him break my heart, and now I lost my boyfriend, and my best friend. Sometimes sadly, it isn’t worth it.

This film hits hard. This has inspired me to never take any day for granted and to get over my shyness. As of today, I have started making an effort to go out of my comfort zone. I am really grateful I saw this.

Every summer, I go (or at least used to) to my grandma's house with my family. It's in a small village where there are many cousins of ours and also people who are not family. When I was 13, I met a guy there, and we just got along so well, I don't even know how to explain. We were just silly kids but we understood each other. I really had a crush on him hahaha. We only saw each other for like one week because he left with his family. But what I regret the most, is that I only gave him my email (idk why bruh), and we didn't even gave each other our numbers, or instagrams, nothing. Idk if he was to shy to contact me, or if I gave him the wrong email, but he never did. Every summer, when I go to my grandma's house, I go look for him, but he never came back with his family. And I just know his first name (I'm not even sure how to write it tho). So I guess I'll never see him again.

Ah Ryan, watching this in 2021 and it still brings tears to my eyes. Such powerful storytelling that hits deep. Thank you for sharing this with the world.
