    Super good advice. I use the notes app on my phone for this. Especially if its a really random thought like a story idea that I dont want to forget, I frantically type it out on my phone and feel at ease so I can go back to talking with my friends or whatever it is I was doing.

    Well the first thing that came to mind is when I'm hyper focusing and finally getting stuff done please don't interrupt me or distract me. It'll take me forever to get back on track with what I was doing if I do at all.

    Recognising what we have achieved is a good antidote to shame. Shame robs us of energy. A realistic recognition of what we have achieved is a vote of confidence in ourselves that we will achieve more tomorrow. As long as we don't get complacent, that's a much healthier position to be in than being wracked by shame.

    I experience this too. The thing is, you can learn to categorize tasks into procrastination levels. I have a "importance/annoyance matrix" in my head; there are tasks that are super annoying but even more annoying if I don't do them, but also non-critical things I just hate to do. I always take a second to evaluate "how important is this and how annoying will it become if I don't do it now". For example, shopping. On my own, I can postpone it from thursday to saturday evening and just eat whats in the fridge because I don't care. But if I have guests it would be super embarrassing to have nothing so I go on thursday evening to stock up. Not a perfect solution but it works out for me. If you tend to procrastinate, you can also mitigate the pressure by setting a limit when it will become important. "This is bs, I hate it, but it will become important and bite me in 3 days, so it must be done in 2 days at the latest."

    Yes, I’ve been feeling it lately rejections I been single since middle school I’m 37 years old I used to have a three jobs, but I think it’s not enough for them realize I’m a DJ as well
