So I walked towards my closet this was after the hurricane and I had just cleaned my room. And a roach the size of my Charger Box. Crawls on the wall I was gonna be brave but then that little shit started flying toward me. I said a quick Fuck no and dipped. My Mom came into my room. And asked my what was wrong after I explained she hit me with her slipper the. Went into the room she spotted the roach near the floor against a wall it started to fly so she through he slipper knocked it down the sprayed it slaying what we called the behemoth. I live in Florida encountered Alligators and Water Moccasins but never have I ever seen a Monster like that

When my daughter hit the teenage years we were lucky enough to be living in Spain and we had a very similar rule but that ALL the kids had to stick together and my husband and I shuttled teenagers back and forth, I would by far rather have drunk teens to deal with than have seriously injured or dead teenagers, we forget that we were no different, we all have a tale that still makes us think WTF!! You can't afford to lose you shit at your child's WTF moment because they HAVE to know that if something worse or bigger happens that you will ALWAYS have their back, that there is nothing on the planet that you will hate them for, you might hate what they have done but never them! As for not telling parents, that is a very grey area and all you can do is make a judgement call, if you think the parents are like yourself then 100% tell the parents! But if you think the teenager is in danger of being hurt, put them to bed and you're in for a long night. As a mum of long past teenagers, lighten up on yourself! You're doing an amazing job but learn how to put a teen in the recovery position, keep their airways clear and make sure you know the signs of alcohol poisoning and or droog use too and I would call the parents if there is ANY sign of droogs simply because it can all go VERY wrong VERY quickly, at this time in their lives, be the mum you wish you had.❤

My little sibling told me everyone was laughing when she was trying to say “punto” in Spanish. I explained what word it was. When we went to a donut shop, a Hispanic couple only spoke Spanish and was trying to order donuts, except the cashier didn’t understand Spanish. Cashier still tried her best. The customer had the gall to whisper to her husband a word similar to what my sister learned about the cashier, so naturally she got upset at her for being rude. I told her not to say anything and not cause a scene, but it did tick me off too.

My I have the best parents in the world moment was that during Covid apparently everyone had to stay in their houses the whole summer but my mom decided to drive us all the way across the country to one of the only states where you didn’t have to just so we wouldn’t be bored and on the trip she didn’t tell me so I wouldn’t worry❤
