Murphy's Creek exploring looking for some tracks and a little look at the area.
We got together for a Sunday drive in the Murphys Creek area, we've heard there are some tracks out there and a country drive was a little bonus. The regular suspects Roh and Jess in there 80 (recovery car lol) Will in his recently refreshed injector 79, Jason in his trusty Pajero and us in our new to us Wrangler. from Wallers Road Gatton end entry through to the Prison entry, we took a couple side tracks on the drive through and found a little mud.The main track is graded and really suitable for any offroad vehicle in the dry, but the recent rain has changed the conditions of a few sections. the other part accessed via Wallers road was apparently a no go for 4x4's without a lift, there was a MUX or Colo...

Was a lot of trouble in the softer stuff gettin into Kinkuna Beach camping, had to recover ourselves with Maxtrax a few times entering and leaving.

We arrived at Kinkuna Beach camping on Monday 30.09.24and had 2 recoveries and a multi reset self recovery on the camp entry. We ended up having a great week, recovering a couple Land Cruisers 200 series during the week and then needed a a save when exiting, funnily enough by another Land Cruiser 80 series. every one we met was pretty chill just enjoying the week, we were leaving on the Saturda...

Another run in a couple different lines and repeated the high use lines because, it's just good fun. Started from the middle and went uphill. #4wd #nowastedweekends #jeepwrangler4x4. Can't wait for the next opportunity to #letsgosomewhere in the Jeep and have a great time.

#4wd247fails A while bak a mate in a Pajero steamed into the (usually) easy to run through holes, but someone with big tire's has obviously dug it out between visits.
Play area and down right side to Laidley border fence and up the bog holes, then back up top.

Was starting to get dark so I wanted to do another lap and get a win on the Bog hole that beat me last week. Felt really good to get out of it, sometimes the best way out isn't forward. #jeepwrangler4x4 #4wd #offroad

Videos of driving from Grandchester end to the top of the play area, there is a line out here also known as Bigfoot. It's my second time here in the JK Wrangler. I wanted a better look during the day as the night run last week caught me out a bit. The shorter wheel base made up for some mud caused traction dramas. I'm finding the Jeep a really impressive little nugget.

Finally got some tyres on the new to me Jeep Wrangler, and got out to old Grandchester road. I lost all my footage somehow but thankfully Scotty had a bit for us. Bitter sweet but really enjoyed the Jeep. We do miss the RC Colorado but we’ll make new memories in the new ride. I was really impressed with the JK Wrangler. #4wd #nowastedweekends #shedlife #iboughtajeep

Took the Jeep to Old Grandchester Road last night. Popped a not yet 24 hour old AT2 #4wd247fails had a great time though. First time off road in a solid axle vehicle. Very very impressed.

mostly graded easy country drive, till you try a few side tracks. the bottom half sounded really muddy. sadly none of the creek crossings had a lot of water. the rocky creek runs had a lot of downed trees in them.

Enter from the Grandchester end of old Grandchester road. It’s blocked off from the Laidley end. It’s crazy slippery in the wet so be cautious

You may not be aware but this land is PRIVATE PROPERTY. What is evident by your video is the complete disregard 4x4'ers have for out native bushland and forest. The erosion caused in this area is significant with water coming off this are washing out the real roads and causing damage to neighbouring properties. Please keep out! ... and tell your mates.

I found this place after work the other day but looks like I missed heaps out is there tracks going off everywhere? I only played in the main open bit and the main track back down out onto the road. Cheers for the video too
Yeah, we kinda just weave back up and down. Can usually fill an hour or two before getting too bored. Can be a bit slippery in the wet to add some extra excitement

Great vid. I am working toward a Cyclone Pro from the same shop as I'm only 15-20mins away from Sumner Park so great for any issues or servicing etc. If you would be so kind.... How was your experience with customer service? - especially after your purchase. You almost stacked it twice - is it down to how much care is taken or are there some gotcha's that make it risky? Best things about the Cyclone Pro are....? Worst things about the Cyclone Pro are....? Cheers.
After sales service has been great. One stack I had they straightened the bars for me and replaced the valve in the rear tyre at no cost. Key start barrel came out, also repaired quickly. Breaks are brilliant. I’m mid 40’s and haven’t ridden anything in a long time so speed settings were adaptive to my skill level. Opened her up as confidence and competence improved.
