omg i know i am 10 months late but i am coming from your 'how sweet' video both new jeans and supershy are 'mainstream' versions of pretty hard clubland 'uk garage' genre.... early 90s it was underground club music with MC's and rappers over harder riffs.... but late 90s a lot of uk dj's softened it up.... keepig the 'clubland' sound with the superfast snares/hihats/ electro drums but with hard deep basslines... but changing the riffs for softer melodies and the rap vocals for soulful/rnb vocals.. it was ridiculouslly popular in the uk late 90s to early 2000s

its actually 'miami bass' which is an early 90s clubland sound that deriviates from hip hop and rnb.. like a clubland version of them.. ghost town dj's-my boo is probably the most famous miami bass tune that was so popular around the world.. so give that a listen in your time to recognise the genre.... eta is much more 'uk garage' with 'jersey club' mixed in.. another clubland sound but miami bass is more rnb orientated but still with fast synths and big baslines like their other clubland sounds

Sometimes you just gotta bow down to your sponsors. For the longest time K-Dramas had to promote Subway in scenes. Now it is QDoba. Atarashi Gakko did videos promoting sponsor products for a long time before they finally signed on with 88Rising. Very good song and choreography. However I felt the hip-hop choreo was a bit too upbeat in comparison to the music. No diss on the girls as I am sure someone else came up with the choreo, it could have been a little more elegant IMO.

🪩 ❤❤ 🦊 🔌 Moa and original member Yui have four songs without Su on the first two BABYMETAL albums. That duo was known as Black BABYMETAL. The songs are 'Onedari Daisakusen', '4 no Uta' (Song 4), 'GJ!' and 'Sis.Anger'. There are also some great recent collaborations with Bring Me the Horizon (Kingslayer) and F.HERO/Bodyslam (Leave It All Behind). And there are a bunch of great songs off of their most recent album 'THE OTHER ONE' like 'Monochrome' 'METAL KINGDOM' and 'Divine Attack'. Anything live from that album is great.

You should really dive into Electric Callboy if you liked this. This song is VERY EC coded, and everything they released since 2020 from "Hypa Hypa" and onwards is a certified banger. "We got the moves" is their most successful song. Their cover of "Every time we touch" is also really good. Others to check out are the aforementioned "Hypa Hypa" and "Tekkno Train". Really anything from their album "Tekkno" :) My personal favourite is "Parasite", but it's one of their non-goofy songs.

hi from german even as a 65 year old went thou den martin and what very music in history I remeber as a 7 year old evis fan standing at the mirrow and had a totaly short hiar cut and tyed to make it evis way my mom smiled secretly watching me anyway elertic cowboy you have to look them up the thing is they make you happy and thats doesnt happen so much in music besides you will be how much good pop music and other things you have no idea so if curios I can send you pretty cool things

This song was definitely more of a typical Electric Callboy song than a Babymetal song, so you might be a bit disappointed if you think you will get more like this from Babymetal. If you like fun, silly party metal with a lot of EDM and Techno influences, you can't do better than to climb down the Electric Callboy rabbit hole, but you won't get the J-Pop cutesy element from them, of course. Although I am not a Weeb and not a J-Pop fan, this is clearly a great combination and it makes me a bit sad that we most likely won't get any more of it. I wish they would do a whole album together. I would recommend checking out "Tekkno Train" by Electric Callboy, or their two "MC Thunder" songs. I think those are the ones that are the closest to "Ratatatata", even though "Tekkno Train" is very much a "Bloodhound Gang" homage.

Great first reaction - we need more BABYMETAL from you, they will surprise you so many times ... and although Su-metal was and is lead vocalist Yuimetal and Moametal, now Moametal and Momometal were always singing too. Try 'Monochrome' live at PIA Arena.

Babymetal have a few more electronic dance slanted songs (mostly since the Fine Bros video), and the live versions of Da Da Dance, Time Wave, Iine! and Metali might be up your street and give you an idea of if you want to look any deeper.

When it comes to fun music, this is the perfect combination. I'm a fan of both so you can imagine how thrilled I was when I heard they would do a collaboration. I think the song does both of them justice, while the video definitely has the handwriting of Electric Callboy, who are in fact the producers. They really do fantastic videos, you should definitely check them out, and they are the uncrowned masters of meshing different styles, like Metalcore, EDM, POP and even Schlager(a very german style of music which I have no good translation for). I'm also very thrilled about how good Suzuka's english has become and how great they acted in this video, which they normally don't do very often in their videos. I hope we will get a lot of colloborative life performances of those two in the near future.

Ah I am sure you have reacted to this already but I highly recommend checking out XG Woke Up as well. Japan has really been upping their game this year. XG is so good but know they are planning an upcoming tour as well. So hopefully I can see them live at some point soon. 🙀💕

Since you don't know them, here some info about Electric Callboy: They are a German Metalcore band formed in 2010 under the name "Eskimo Callboy" who take themselves not too serious and tend to create hilarious videos for their songs. After they learned that the word "Eskimo" can be seen as a derogatory name for Inuit and Yupik people of the Arctic they changed their name by replacing "Eskimo" with "Electric". The videos are almost all produced by the Schillo brothers (Pascal Schillo (Guitarist of the band) and his brother Oliver Schillo who own a video production company). Most of their songs are about partying and having a good time, but they have some more serious stuff in their catalogue also. They blend Metalcore with EDM, Techno, Pop and sometimes even Rap music which lead to their very unique style that is called "Partycore". There are two main vocalists in the band: Nico Sallach (clean vocals) and Kevin Ratajczak (harsh vocals) but both can do both vocal styles and back each other up if needed. Nico is a bit better with the cleans and Kevins harsh vocals are a bit better than Nicos. If you'd like to check them out I would recommend "Hypa Hypa" ,"We got the Moves", "Pump it", "Spaceman" or "Tekkno Train". For the more serious songs it would be "Hate/Love", "Parasite" or "Mindreader" .

Just saw them live at Fox_Fest in Japan and you could litterly hear the auidence gasp a collective Oooo!! 🙀💕 Yes, my thoughts exactly as this is the best collab of 2024 hands down. At the end they both hugged each other as the auidance erupted into a massive applause!! I also saw Babymetal in Vegas at the Sick New World Festival in Vegas last month. It was an epic performance which had more then one surprise as well. Later in the night on Bring Me The Horizon's stage. Babymetal appeared with Oli to perform Kingslayer. This came as a compete shock as noone was expecting this. Kingslayer was a 3 years in the making but no one thought they would actually perform it live. It was such a massive Banger & Babymetal & Oli were there both just halesdbanging together it was pretty epic. 🤘 🦊🔥🔥

So glad you liked this 😀 This is a rare video for Babymetal, because we normally don't get to see them just hanging out and having fun as they are normally more "in-character", Suzuka being the regal and majestic queen that she is, while Moa and Momoko are dancing their butts off and interacting with and hyping the crowds. Of particular note for this track also is this is the first studio recording with Momoko's growls, which to date were only heard at live shows. I agree that this will be the collab of the Summer, but I still think their collab with Thai rapper F.Hero and Thai soft Rock band, Bodyslam "Leave It All Behind" will remain the collab of the year. Some other songs that you will like as they are more pop than metal are "Brand New Day", "Elevator Girl", "Awadama Fever", "Onedari Daisakusen", "YAVA!" and "GJ!". Kitsune Da O!🤘🦊🤘

The song structure and instrumentation was very Electric Callboy. Not sure, if this that what Baby Metal usually does. And the video was made by Electric Callboy. At the end you see Schillobros, which is own by Pascal, which is guitarrist, and his brother, who is not part of the band. It was a 50:50 collaboration and was well done by both, Electric Callboy and Baby Metal. And they all seemed to have a blast, also in some live footage from yesterday you see them all smiling.

Thanks from Japan 有難う 。I witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BM and EC together in the two-day Fox_Fest at Saitama Super Arena on May 25 / 26 (Japan time) . Fun, fun, fun. Happy, happy, happy. That' all, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in this festival.

Welcome back to BabyMetal's journey 🦊🤘🔥 Always glad to see reactors and old BM fans coming back to listen more songs from this wonderful group. Of course i remember FB reaction, they're the reason i came back to feel the love of this group after i met them with Doki Doki Morning back in 2011. Today they just finished the second and final day of FOX_FEST in Japan and they did the second live performance of this song along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab, pretty sure it's gonna be the hit of this 2024 summer. Hopefully they will play this at Download Festival too or any other festival. Polyphia were there playing a set but also the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played for the second time (the day before was the first time) in the song Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this. My favorite highlights: - MoaMetal is killing me everytime she blow kisses.💀❤️ - MomoMetal stealing the cam with her funny faces.🍑 - SuMetal shaking it during the breakdown.💃 The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. Another reference some reactors found was about breaking the wall with Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although fans spotted in the live version, so it could be her after all. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Next suggestion to meet another super collab they did recently: - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV. Hope to see you around with more BM songs and see you next time.
