The question is NOT about domination but it should be about this - "Are you standing up for what's right? Are you establishing peace, justice, truth, global laws, democracy, righteousness, and humanity as it should be or your a part of the corrupt deep state yourself ?"

USA will not commit it's soldiers to fight China in Taiwan. USA realised that during the Korean war, waves upon waves of volunteer forces from China fought the USA forces with only human waves and small arteries fire against USA Army of tanks, fighter aircrafts, aerial. bombings for over 3 years. This have taught how tough it was to fight the Chinese volunteer forces comprising 2 million troops. Thus it has taught the Americans how difficult it is to fight the Chinese volunteer forces. Since then no USA forces dare to fight with Chinese Army who will fiercely fight to the very end with no support from the air and no tank battlions at all.
USA did not adhere to the one China policy cause it still sell arms to Taiwan and had military bases in Okinawa, Japan, South Korea, Phillipines and Australia. Why do the US need to have so many military bases surrounding China. When the Russians have a forward military base in Cuba, it immediately raised concern and implemented naval blockage surrounding Cuba with ultimatum to declare war on Russia. USA being an aggressive and impose rule on others should show example not to raise the bar on military confrontations with China vice versa. Although USA recognised the one China policy, it never stopped selling arms to Taiwan and send official delegation to Taiwan on every occasion. Why do USA have a double edge policies in Taiwan?
Do you know where you got that Trump quote? Can't find it on google and can't currently afford the package on your website :(
I'm in Canada and our SUP ban seems to be going well its very common to see people with their own reusable bags, i bought my family metal cutlery sets to keep in their purse or back pack from what i hear they love them, they are also pretty inexpensive to buy too. i have no complaints about the SUP ban.

The USA should abandon Taiwan as the island has all along belongs to China. Both China and Taiwan are blood brothers of the Chinese race. The reactionary forces in Taiwan knew this situations but insisted itself to be not of Chinese descendand. It is indeed ashame as the Europeans of various races can form Nato's why can't the Taiwanese see that it belongs to the Chinese nation come what may. It is USA which sells billions of dollars to Taiwan want the island to be separated from China. The tides of change will be coming soon.
bro is Xi Jinping
It's funny the people who want war are the ones who won't go to war. They keep pushing for war because they are not the ones who are fighting in it. Imagine we only send the people who want war to fight the war 😅 no one would want wars then.
TD;LR - yes, Taiwan belongs to China
Bruh this topic actually sucks. Even so thanks for the video it was very helpful.

You're very welcome! Sorry you don't like this one, I love it but everyone has their preference. I think the next one will be a more straightforward pro/con debate.
USA should not interfere with the dispute between China and Taiwan which historically belongs to one Chinese family. If USA meddle. I'm this dispute, USA will lose face internationally and be a scorn by the whole world.
The island of Taiwan will always be a part of China. Be it rain, storm or sunshine Taiwan will be united with China. China have been under extreme restraints so as to allow Taiwan leeway to unite with China. Otherwise force will be used to make it come true

My history lesson from today in school : American Revolution Me in the first 10 minutes of Joel's astonishing lecture : Heyy, something seems similar over here............
Yup! Plenty of parallels. Modern Chinese history is so fascinating and brutal...I think the fact that they've had like 10 earth-shattering national crises in the last 100 years (a civil war, a 'warlord era', 2 Japan wars, another civil war, great leap forward, cultural revolution, etc) and we've had 0 (WW2 wasn't in America and 9/11 was just on TV for most people), explains a lot of our cultural differences
This is a very impressive overview of the Taiwan situation. I will make an important point on U.S. motivations (discussed around 13:00). The “military-industrial” complex does not control the U.S. Government. Take U.S. arms sales to Taiwan as an example. In the early 1980’s, Taiwan requested that the U.S. sell advanced fighters to Taiwan. James Lilly, the de-facto U.S. Ambassador to Taiwan at the time, commissioned the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to determine if Taiwan really needed new fighters. DIA concluded that Taiwan did not need new fighters. The Bush administration, around 2001, denied the sale of Aegis Destroyers to Taiwan. In 2011 the Obama administration decided against the sale of new F-16s to Taiwan. In 2023 the U.S. refused to sell expensive F-35 figther to Taiwan. If profit were the dominant motivation, then the U.S. would not have denied so many arms sales to Taiwan. The “military industrial complex” is not a single entitity which acts in unison. Moreover, defense companies are just one segment of the range of powerful companies which influence the U.S. Government. It’s fashionable these days to simply blame things on the “military industrial complex,” but U.S. policy is far more complicated than that. And at worst, saying that it controls the U.S. government sounds like Chinese and Russian propaganda. I’d also suggest that you consider how the PRC’s massive state-owned arms producing companies might influence PRC policy.
Maybe I have an overly-low bar for corruption, and perhaps “influence” is the correct word rather than “control”. I stand corrected, and appreciate your thoughts and excellent examples! Checking my remarks here is invaluable 🙏🙏
@@xiongmu Yo thank u for the block to the military industrial complex, means a lot.

US cooperation with China is way more beneficial than Taiwan. Also Taiwan is part of China and interference of Chinese internal matters is like having China interfere in the US divide militarily, siding with one party to deminish America for China's strategic interests.
Yes from one point of view that is exactly the question

1:05:58. What is the Border K? 🧐
A whole lecture: in short, argue that borders themselves are bad, therefore any extra surveillance is also bad, so we shouldn't do it. Throw this into ChatGPT for a bit more: "I have a PF debate topic about increasing surveillance infrastructure along the US' southern border (Aff), IN BRIEF, how would I run a Borders Kritik on this, arguing that borders themselves are problematic / divisive / anti-poor / racist. What would be the high-level key points, and how can I argue that these impacts should make me win the debate round?
1:01:25 what did you say? “No difference between surveillance tech and [?]”
ahh, 'no direct connection between surveillance tech and arrests'
For aff is it better to make the contentions about how unsecured the border is or is it better to show how effective surveillance is?
Do both, show there's a problem (insecure border and negative effects from that) then present a solution (surveillance infrastructure)
thank you so muchhhh! the goat fr
Hey Joel, thanks very much, I really appreciate the lectures, quick question. About the Kwan 21' card, how necessarily could that be used to attack someone if they say "illegal immigrant"?
That's probably above my paygrade, but I'd look up the Language K / Rhetoric K, generally you say the judge should vote against the person because their language (misgendering or saying '3rd world countries' or something) is harmful. It's kinda in-the-weeds for PF, I wouldn't run these unless Ks are somewhat common in your circuit.

I love that in the boat experiment, you gave us a fill in the blank boat... Challenge accepted!! 😁 -- fills Mexican border boat up with South America's best under 25 male soccer talent, sends it to America -- ⚽⛵ 👮CBP: Hey!! You guy's can't be here!! Go back!! 🚨 🏅USMNT (Men's National Team): Whoa whoa whoa... hold on just a second there... you boys in the boat!! How many goals did each of ya'll score last season!? ¿Cuantos goles? ⚽🥇🥈🥉🤩 That is the only scenario I see ANY boat getting through ANYWHERE... And it has to be MALES-- USWMNT doesn't need help like our boys do, our women's team kicks butt already.🥇⚽ Also, that outcome worked out a lot better than any China scenario I ran through my head... ⛵Boat Crew: ¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? 😀 🐲People's Republic of China: 🪖👮🚀🎆
😅😅 I love how you ran with that. Yes, there's certainly some exceptions.... A few places are probably more humanitarian than the States, and others just don't have the infrastructure to patrol all their borders so they'd probably be easy enough to sneak into...
Thanks for the video, like always! I have a question though, at 55:47 you make the argument that the status quo is good right now which implies that the tech is working and doing its job, but then you make the arguments about tech failure and all of the reasons why the tech is ineffective, bad for privacy, etc. If neg read these two arguments together, wouldn't that be contradictory?
Honestly these lectures are just a bunch of arguments organized as best I can, so there's probably more than one contradiction if you ran that 20-minute screed as a case...you'd have to choose for sure, 1. SQ Good because of tech OR 2. tech ineffective. HOWEVER, putting on my Neg hat, I'd say SQ Good because of recent policies, 1. Mexican interdiction and 2. Asylum caps, and adding more surveillance tech won't do anything to change those numbers one way or the other, it'd just introduce a bunch of DAs.
@@DebateTrackSorry, I read this earlier and completely forgot to respond 😭 But thanks for the feedback!
Mecian Government interdiction... wasn't that temporary and for political reasons? Could we argue that the Biden-Harris Administration success at the border is from outside forces and not due to their actions? I would like to use this line of argumentation to mitigate the CON's inherency/solvency press(es). Remember: For many it starts as a press and becomes referred to as "turns" in subsequent speeches. ;)
I haven't seen any indication it's temporary, but the increase seems to have been triggered at the Biden admin's request. And yes, it seems almost certain that the Mexican government's actions have made an enormous dent in the issue, maybe more-so than the Asylum limits (although it's tough to parse those out)-- but I don't think the reason that immigrant numbers have dropped matters in the status quo (unless it was directly related to surveillance tech, or as you say, the cause is known to be temporary)-- the fact is, they're way down so we don't need more infrastructure.
