Thank you too.
Always welcome
On the Friday afternoon line up there are 2 US programmes produced by Lorimar Productions.
A very interesting find - not least that it shows that Thames' Thursday evening closedowns often included showing a run-down of Friday evening's programmes on LWT, even if not tending to credit their weekend counterparts. The out-of-sync order - early evening, then afternoon, though not the chikdren's programmes, then late evenung - was a nice oddity to see!
Yes because lwt of course then took over from Thames at 5.15pm on a Friday then too.
As London itv only then too of course.
CHiPs was a Saturday night favourite
Yes I used to see it too then.
So was 321
@@Squab1972 loved Saturday night tv 80s and 90s
@@rajnirvan3336 it was really good back then.... now it is a joke
@@Squab1972 yes it was then too.
Not even a single mention for TV-am beginning at 6.55am...
You're right. Just closed down straight away.
That's an uncannily early closedown for a Friday night - 12.08 according to Peter Lewis. It's so early that even UTV might've not quite gone off yet!!!
@@MovieVideo101 1983 and TV-am was a disaster. Most regions looked on it as a joke. They wouldn't take them seriously until 1985/86. Thames often did the same, only Tom Edwards ever bother to tell the viewers about TV-am, but even then he always got the name of their main programme wrong Good Morning Great Britain, instead of just Good Morning Britain, as a little tease to TV-am management, who hated him doing it
@@gavinn6905 This night the aired a pilot sitcom starring Peter Cook called The Two of Us at 11.30pm. LWT saving money, as ITV and Channel 4 were hit by an advertising recession in 1983-1984 and so they felt people were out partying so why not shut early. BBC 1 were on air a little bit more until 12.35am, BBC 2 on air until 1.30am for late night viewers and Channel 4 closed down this night at 12.40am
@@johnking5174indeed so too.

the part where the camera zooms out and a view shot of the suburban neighborhood during the end credits feels like I'm blasting off into Outer Space!
I'm sorry, its because my camera on my phone keeps shaking
By the end credits, the song 'Now and Then' by Susanna Hoffs
I love my favorite actor is Christina Ricci. 🥰
