Thanks. I have it on my list to make one more video as I went back to Zürs and Lech am Arlberg a month after the first visit. I got a chance to dig deeper into history of the locations and was quite surprised by some of the things I learned: All interior location in the film are made in a studio. The Carrington house inside does not look like in the film in real life; some very strange manipulations were done to the exterior of the Carrington House and the house were the Russian Agents reside. I don´t even know hos they did that but to the Carrington house they added a connecting building that never existed and "from" the Russian Agents lair they removed a house that is next to it (a house that predates the building that is used - so certainly should have been there at the time). I really wonder why and how they did these "tricks". Manually editing the filmstrips? I also found out that in the movie Brynner goes up on the Zürs cable car - but it is only the ground station that is correct. When he arrives at the middle station we have switched to another ski area "St. Cristoph" and it is middle station here that he arrives at. It is the Valluga cable car that we are now on. It is also the "top station" from that cable car route that is used and it it looks completely like in movie today. Even the place where Brynner steps outside to ski down (which looks very fake and studio made in the film) exist today and look almost the same as what they probably remade in a studio. I was super fun drinking a coffee at the "top station" from the film - which in real life is NOT the actual top station as one more cable car leaves from here to the real top. But I also showed me that the shot where the cable car arrives at the top was made in a studie as the cable car arrival is mirrored (the car arrives on the wrong side). This is also clear if one studies the film but I never noticed it before and I never suspected they would remake a real life sized cable car station with arriving cable car in a studio. try to google "Valluga Bahn cable car" and images then you can see the cable car stations as they look today (very recognizable).

Ha ha I wish that was the case for me also. When I grew up almost nobody in the Country had this car and we had zero dealers. I had to get by with magazines and books.

Auch eins für mich. Ich hätte es fast gekauft, da ich den Preis im Fenster fälschlicherweise mit 17.000 verwechselt habe, aber das war ein weiteres Auto, das der Verkäufer auch zum Verkauf hatte. Der Lancia kostete 34.000, also etwas mehr, aber selbst für dieses Geld war es immer noch ein sehr schönes Auto aber mehr, als ich dieses Jahr entbehren kann

Ich finde es da schön. Ja die Preise sind hoch. Aber zu gucken gibt es da immer eine Menge. Vor allem Autos, die man sonst nicht so oft sieht.

Perfectly happy engine...rattle is stainless exhaust not clearing the steering colum too well. Unfortunately it was welded in place by previous owner so does not adjust out easily. As with all vibrations in cars they peak at various levels - so in this car I tend to just drive so it does not hit that area too much...which makes it tolerable. It will be fixed someday it is just not on the urgent list.

Hi, I don´t have a track plan. But they are simple analog ovals with a PSU for each separate line - like a kid would build it before digital and modern time electronics. The room is 5,3 m2 - and the layout is 120x230 (4 layers) + 90x150 (not including what is going under the 4 layered part so just the part sticking out with the central railway station) + 60x138 (ferry part) so around 4.9 m2 in total.

Den i Aarhus - som nu er ændret totalt - er oprindeligt også bygget af Melchior og Juel Berg som byggede Københavnerbanen. Den var rigtig flot dengang.
