Looking back, we watched a self-righteous father, Craig James, attack Coach Leach because of a lack of playing time for his son. There was never any evidence of Leach mistreating Adam James or any other student athlete before or after this incident. Texas Tech used the fact that they didn’t want to pay up for Leach and coincided it with a father who had a national media presence looking for vindication for his son. Coach Leach got the short-end of the stick and if this didn’t happen, he would have been at USC or some other big money school and he would have never lost. Rest in Peace. I would have loved to had a drink with you in Key West. Your uniqueness and reputation proceeded you. We will miss you Coach!

Mike Leach is the only coach at Tech that made me interested in the football games He added so much to Tech and when they fired him I was absolutely shocked out of my mind. Then the two that fired him left Tech. Tech still owes him money. Now he has passed , but I'm sure his family could use the money, so pay him. What a embarrasssment to the citizens of Lubbock. I will never support Tech again. I have a degree from Tech and learned nothing about teaching school.
