Traveling to Waco for the 2025 Grand Annual Communication of Texas - Freemasonry & Brotherhood
Join me as I travel to Waco, Texas for the 2025 Grand Annual Communication of Masons in Texas, a gathering that brings together brothers from all over the state and beyond. This video is a little different from our usual travel content, but it’s a deeply personal one-sharing what Freemasonry in Texas means to me and so many others around the world.
Our journey will take us through some of the most meaningful moments of this annual Masonic tradition:
🔹 Touring the Grand Lodge Library & Museum - Exploring the rich history, artifacts, and documents that preserve our legacy.
🔹 Grand Lodge Open Ceremonies - Witnessing the time-honored traditions that unite Masons in Texas and around the world.
🔹 Building Tour of the Grand Lodge of Texas - A closer look at the architecture, symbolism, and significance of this historic Masonic hall.
🔹 Brotherhood & Fellowship - Cooking a steak dinner with the brothers we’re staying with and celebrating one of their birthdays.
🔹 Lee Lockwood Library & Museum - Attending the MWSA District 30 Banquet, always grateful for the hospitality of our Masonic family.
🔹 10th Annual Masonic Concert - Wrapping up the trip with an evening of music and social festivities at the Backyard Bar & Grill before heading home.
Freemasonry is about more than history and ceremony-it’s about brotherhood, charity, and lifelong friendships. I hope this video gives you a glimpse into the deep connection we share as Masons and why this annual gathering is such an important tradition.

Great video! Really enjoyed your drone shots! Did it worth to purchase the all inclusive option on this resort? We are looking into going there. Did they have any night entertainment at the hotel? Did you like the all included restaurants? Were all restaurants included? Do you know if spa hydrotherapy pools and sauna are included in price?
All inclusive well worth it. Tons of night time entertainment. All restaurants were fantastic. Hydro not included in the price but it was only $40 per person, well worth it.

Was there Firewood at the campground or did you buy it in town?
We actually have a propane pit but they had it at the #LostMaplesCountryStore right down the road.
What cell service carrier do you all have? Was there no cell service at all?
AT&T. Wi-Fi at the RV park but minimal in the park but did have it from time to time. We are going to be getting star link before our next trip.
AT&T but they had absolutely no cell service at Lost Maples and quite a bit in Big Bend. We’re going to get starlink!

How is the bass fishing here? seems like they have stocked a good amount since 2016.
I’ve never actually caught one there. I’m more of a saltwater guy. But I have heard there’s some really good ones in there.
