Pure and delightsome are favored of God. If you have dark skin and you decide to do good things, your skin would become lighter. How can you know? By reading the Book of Mormon.

Very sad to see all these Mormons so blind to the reality of their false religion.

What I get from this is there is a future and we are looking forward with hope. Very important to consider when the world is filled with so much negativity.

Not to throw a wet blanket on anyone but the hill we call "Cumorah" is where Joseph retrieved the plates and not necessarily where the last Nephite/Jaredite battles were fought. Lest we get lost in our own folklore.

How do we know Smith was visited by God and Jesus in the so-called first vision with the absolute certainty expressed by these fine young folks? Why because Smith said so of course. Funny though, he waits 12 years before he mentions a word of it, then can't keep the account straight, telling four different versions over the years. Oh well, easy to explain, he timed it for the greatest impact. As for the different versions, heck, anyone could forget after 12 years that God had been present.

You started out standing in front of a picture of Jesus telling the rich young ruler to go and sell all his possessions and give the money to the poor. Why don't the Q15 do likewise? Instead of hiding billions in fake shell companies and lying to the members, public, and federal government? What would Jesus have to say about all that? People won't join the Mormon church when they see the hypocrisy.

Why is it that I have enjoyed the companionship of the Holy Spirit more in my life since leaving the LDS Church after 60 years? Having a personal relationship is far greater than belonging to a religious institution. I get it, you young men are as ignorant and niave as I was when I served a mission. Read Galatians 1:6-9 and be certain you have the true gospel. The consequences are dire if you don't. That's my testimony to you both in love.

Why do you covenant and promise to keep his commandments each week fully knowing you will fail to keep them? Prayers like those are vain repition.

I’ve been around the block. I’ve spent countless hours developing all sorts of talents. One that I struggle with is church. The why always comes to mind. But, after years of back and forth I’ve realized that all things that are rewarding take time to develop. He mentions joy. Joy isn’t just found it’s developed. You will never develop your true potential of happiness without the spirt of good. And this good is found in Christ. It’s preaty easy but hard at the same time. Like keeping the sabbath day holy, not lying, not coveting your neighbors sweet new car, etc. it seems easy but it’s like never exercising and eating to much and saying why am I over weight. This life isn’t a competition. The LDS church teaches that all will be saved, all have the same chance for happiness. It is important for all good people to stand together for good. This life is a blink of an eye in the eternal perspective but it’s also an important building block for who you will be forever. Come start living your eternal family life now. It’s easy just read the Book of Mormon think about the tree of life. If it’s not for you that’s ok, just be a good contributing member of society, but it’s easier to work together.
