RC4WD Gelande Cruiser: My Lousy Opinion
Is that a dead body drum in back?? Jj
The kit is supposed to have the better gears my pre order is in .. Great video..
Hey buddy ,you still doing folsomlake?
Yup, In fact this was from Rattle snake Bar (north end of the lake)
I would suggest the camera needs to be lower. Having the camera at the height of a 1/10 scale human gives the illusion of walking beside the truck not flying in a plane. Just my opinion ,good luck and thanks for sharing the drive.
Yup, this is just my initial test footage, getting everything to track, etc. I was trying to avoid dragging the gimbal in the dirt, lol. But no biggie, I'll be able to get the camera much lower next time. These are actually 2 gimbals, it just takes a little practice. Thanks for the comment!
For a nanosecond you had me there, then I saw the driver 😆
😆
I bought the MT12 ELRS with the external 4 in 1 module.
What does this do?
Thanks. Definitely thinking of getting a new radio soon.
Love mine
Right on! I have a Ultra24 rig being built up right now. Going for a similar green over blue two tone, but with some racing numbers on it... yada yada. That Bug just really cemented the livery in for me. Beautiful rig! And yes, I do like that dark green Yota as well! Sweet video!
I love the paint you did for it💯🙌
👍
Amazing 😮Paint job ❤
Nice. Im already subbed. 🔥👍🏾
Hey bud. I think we have met. Your in Sacramento correct? What bug body is that please. Part # ?
Yup, I'm in the Sacramento area... the body is a Proline bug body (listed under crawler on their website) Part#PRO359500
What wheel and tire setup are you running ? Those looks sweet and i love that green paint
These are actually an old set of Gearhead wheels, they're out of production, but they were a great solid wheel. Tires are BFG krawlers from proline 🙂
Man that was lousy, lousy opinion show 😅
😆
I have the same htech wheels and don't fit on my optic.
Where’s this at?
Thanks for the review! I'm making this my next project.
Your opinion pretty cool........
Cool Cruiser!
Looks good!
I wish vanquish would've added more holes towards the middle of the rig so I could lay the shocks down more...
I’m not saying this is a bad RC just that my 4wheel steer Capra is a much better crawler so it makes no sense for me to get one other look at me I have an Optic.
Well look at you! You have a Capra! Lol! Ok, I'm kidding, if a Capra works for you that's great, and is kinda my point. There really is no perfect crawler, just one that works best for you. West Desert Wheeler actually does some great comparison videos between the two🙂
So your conclusion is besides the terrible lanyard, that it works and you like it and you're going to continue to use it.. I'm going to buy one especially for the USB capability, that function is not listed anywhere else I've seen and I would buy the radio for that alone.
I was going to buy DX6 for my crawler. But watching this video, I might think also something else
Love my new dx6 rugged ,thanks for choosing my colour 😉👌🏼
Good info. I am suprised you had to shave for the Fusion Pro. Mine went in without issue. This is my first "real" crawl/bounce rig and so far have been loving it. I want to do that transmission upgrade next. Great looking rig! H-Tech makes great bump stops for it. I just did a video on it a couple days ago
Just seemed like the "sweet spot" for the pinion I was running (15t) sometimes I find it can be a little tricky to clock some motors into position. Pretty minimal trim actually. Or I might be going blind, one of those two 😁
For a lousy opinion, it's pretty decent. My Optic hasn't made it off the bench yet from coming out the box.. busy with work etc.. But so far have almost done the same thing robbing Vfd, OD and Dig out of my Pro.. Swapping out Diffs with left over spools from other Diff Upgrades.. It's such a cool buggy and release from Vanquish. I'm with you on Intelligent purchasing.. knowing when you need to spend $ and when you paying just hype $. The old wheels look perfect.. Cheers🇦🇺👍
Did you get time to try it out any yet?👍
@@meirdeaph No not yet.. build got a bit ore in depth with 3d Knight customs body panels etc.. Been super busy at work. Sorry.. Are you wondering wether to purchase or not..?
@mickd8188 id love to get one but I have to make room or get rid of another one that i also really love. I collected so many pretty fast an its the bigger washers that take up the most space though👍
@@meirdeaph I understand your pain.. hence why the Optic is sitting..Just around my bench I have 3 brand new trucks stripped for customisation, haven't even finalised my Vrd carbon build 100% yet either. The shame😞 Cheers mate👍
I love everything about my h10 except for the shocks
h tech makes the bump stops that work for it. great video
Cool video , I did same mistake in taking the cage off lol PS driveshaft, the rear is out of phase , can't see the front.
Likely it is, driveshaft fell out previously, didn't sync it up, thx 🙂
Nice jumps, u-turn with the dig was so smooth, classy color scheme, and did I mention the backdrop?!
I bought a rugged qhen they first came out, the stupid "scroll" buttons suck
So a half inch of 5/16 tube drops it a half inch but how does the shock handle it still works well as long as no big jumps?
Yup, handles just fine. It's not enough where it constantly bottoms out, your basically just restricting bottom travel. I also put a heavier shock fluid in there just to slow the shock down just a bit. Not really jumping ravines with this thing.🙂
The tires aren't too tall, but I do like a scale-width tire. Unfortunately, there just aren't many pizza cutters out there.
Cool video amigo.
💯
I crawled mine in dirt and mud. Never had any issues with steering or going up and over dirt hills. I just oversized all the accessories parts for the Scx3, and 3D printed them for my scx6. Even the front bumper with the two loop.
I like the tires. The real thing is my dream truck, but one of these modles is probably all I'll ever be able to afford.
Great colour!
Great video... thanks for sharing! Liked and subscribed. By the way, I think those big meats look awesome. Which tires and wheels are those again? Cheers!
❤❤❤❤❤Thanks for sharing, keep em coming, From Alberta Canada.
They are amazing and super fun!! Extremely capable. But mine sits……I go to my 1/10 1/18 I use few times a week….scx6 few times a year lol. Partially they are expensive to upgrade. Someday I’ll lower it and put it on some lcg chasis!
Been driving mine quite a lot this spring, great for lakeside hikes with a lot of sand, and perfect for snow runs! It comes with me to every group run, even with my 10th scale stuff
Funny they did the pumpkin on the wrong side, a real Toyota has it on the right side.
How do you set up your pinion gear mesh ?
Usually the old reliable trick, put a small piece of paper between the pinion & spur, tighten down the motor, then remove the paper. After a while, you can just eyeball it...
It’s a bad radio marketed by a worse company. Poor quality in exchange for accessibility at hobbytown, somewhat useable with some rtr’s. It is what it is. It’s a bummer the Sanwa mt5 can’t be in its place more often.
WoW!!! Awesome snow Fun Footage my Friend! 🐼👌🏻
Very nice build! Super performer there!
