Infiltration Stealth Guide
A guide when you want to crawl behind enemy lines and get the job done.
Notes:
1. Subtitles are burned in the video as I sound terrible. I can't understand myself sometimes
2. At the time of when this video was uploaded, many stealth mechanics aren't working properly
- Some enemies will react when being sniped even when shooting beyond 50m
- Hulks now react to throwing knives being thrown into their heat sink
- Berserkers now react to being punched in their foot
- Some enemies don't lose aggro even if they lose line of sight of you
- If you were in combat 5 or less minutes ago, some patrols has a general sense of where you are even if you've gone far from the last point where they saw you
- Enemies seem to have a longer vision range
- Even if the patrol didn't see you, sometimes they will stop near where you are hiding and start scattering, trying to find you despite you not making any noise or getting seen
- Small outposts outside of objective areas now spawn medium to heavy enemies so the tactic of leaving a single trooper behind to constantly call reinforcements no longer works
- Enemies seem less coordinated. Aggro control is easier as some enemies don't inherit the alert status easily so that's the only positive change I've seen
- Bots will constantly create random sounds, making sounds as if they have detected you, in patrol or being attacked yet they're just standing guard. It's now difficult to determine if you're detected or there's an actual patrol near you just from audio cues
- I don't know if any of these are bugs, intentional changes, whether if Arrow Head is aware of it, whether if they will change them back, or if they will keep these changes
3. The background video of me just using my secondary, melee and grenades is sloppy and slow. I recorded this during my early stealth practices. I wanted to record a new one but stealth mechanics are clunky nowadays
4. Aggro control is a big topic. I might cover it in a different video instead
5. I included the trooper with the two swords as one of your mortal enemies as they have an ability to detect sound much better than any unit and they pass their status to the entire patrol. As long as they're chasing you, it will be very difficult to lose a patrol and sometimes just standing up from crouch or prone positions will alert them of your position. They don't necessarily attack immediately, they still need to scan first but they will bring the entire patrol with them so be careful
