Any thoughts on how Tana compares to Roam? I've been using Roam now for 3 years and it seems far too overwhelming to try something else with how much content I have in my graph.
Basically a more polished Roam with a deeper feature set built in. Especially good for scaling data, capturing and organizing more elegantly, and re-visualizing your information. Think Notion features layered on a Roam core (with optional AI for those who like that) If Roam is working for you I suggest staying put - if do decide to jump over, you can port your graph pretty cleanly though and keep your Roam around as a backup!

Wow... Just solid content for so long, thanks very much for making this. I previously trialed Tana a while before and thought it was too confusing/complex, but am now thinking of revisiting it!.

It is a priceless video many people regret missing. Past 2023 many people digging Obsidians and AppleNotes. But the concepts and working solutions were there.
Started watching this vid and realized soon enough that Roam is written by and for the ADHD ASD crowd (you know, people who can't get enough of hidden commands and keyboard shortcuts where simple WYSIWYG interface would make the same functions available to non-Rainman humans). Sad, as a good interface designer could easily make this tool useable by people who haven't memorized the ASCII set.
Just as I was about to switch to one of the newer apps... I find out there's 14 minutes of things I haven't been doing right on Roam. This is great, thank you
