1971 badging.
Yes, very good. Front grill and back between the tail lights. 👍
@@johnyoungblood118 Beautiful car. I have a Gold 70 SCJ with 42k on the clock.
@@firstnationsindian8062 WOW, that gold color is rare. Awesome! 👌
WOW, that gold color is rare. Awesome!
Gorgeous! Too bad ya didn't fire it up.
I agree! I'll do better next time.
Thanks for posting. It's a beautiful car and brings back memories of my early 70' J-code, Rochester Q-Jet equipped yellow Cobra Torino. One thing... I'm not at all familiar with the "Cobra snake" badging you are using here. Should be Ford part # specific decals for this model year.
You are correct - I removed the cartoon decals and replaced them with metal ones. It just looked so much better to me. Ford did the same the next year in the 71 Torino Cobra.
What a nice car
Thank you much Stuart. A lot of work but it payed off 💜
@@johnyoungblood118 That's ok
I have one but it's a gold /brown GT but same engine/drivetrain.
Those colors are rare 👍
Just gorgeous.
Thank you - a lot of work !🏆
My first car in 1979
Nice ride 👌 👍
Thanks - lot of work!
Nice. Why not show a nice burnout?
I'd have this car and wouldn't change one damn thing about it.
Damn, that is one badass sweet looking car.
It also drives and sounds Badass. I should have recorded that.
Torino SCJ and Rare Earth, both 1970, perfect! Beautiful machine!
Thanks, I thought it would be a great match!
Had one. What a rust bucket. Felt like the Fintstones.
Got to be careful with unibody cars and rust. With the torque of a big block it can twist the body. Any car from a winter salt state will be susceptible to rust.
Beautiful car, they don’t make them like that anymore .
Thanks - There's something about those cars from the 60's and 70's that are timeless beauties.
all show...no go....rust buckets
70 and 71 Torinos and Mercury Cyclones are unibody and rust IS a major concern. As for performance - that is relative. I smoked a 2020 Hemi Challenger in a street race but would not stand a chance with a newer GT500. 😀
@@johnyoungblood118 with 4"30 gears these moved....so did the gas gauge at 8 mpg......
100% agreed@@chadhaire1711 Mine is a 3.91
Beautiful. ! I use to have a 70 Torino but not like this. I had a plane Jane Torino think it had a 289 maybe small V8 anyway.
Hi Mike, ALL Torinos are beautiful! 💥
@@johnyoungblood118 I totally agree with you and I should have never sold it. And it wasn't like I needed the money just didn't drive it that much and it was all stock all original.
If was a 1970 it was a 302, Ford discontinued the 289 after 1967, with Ford introducing the 302 in late 1967 for the 1968 model year replacing the 289.
Beautiful car love it 😀
Thanks - Al, I saw a Torino Cobra while searching for a Shelby Mustang. Decided to buy a Torino instead.
gorgeous car! but please let us ear it rooooooooooar!
AGREED! - I'll work on that
Luv them ole TORINOS and 4 on the floor BADASS 😎 I had a 1972 Sport
I'm with ya - I'm a Torino guy for life.
Thumbs down dude. All this and you don't even start it??? That's what we are all her for.
I already slapped my self in the head for not firing it up!
Breath taking beauty of a tough lookin car
I would have been satisfied with a ThunderJet 429. The SCJ has ridiculous torque and power!
A little commentary would be nice. Nice car!!
Thanks - a lot of work. Still not finished.
My father has one just like it except it's yellow instead of red. I love the 429 Cobra Jet and I learned how to drive in it.
awesome car to learn on 👍
@@johnyoungblood118 Yeah but it made driving normal cars boring.
God I hope that's a magnet not a sticker😢
the American flag - yes it is a magnet.
@@johnyoungblood118 sheeew😌
What a rare beauty❤.
Thanks 😃 I have yet to see one at any car show.
Gorgeous! You should've fired her up!
yeah, I should have! Thanks
BEAUTIFULLLL!!
Yeah, something about those muscle/pony cars from late 60's to early 70's. ❤
Beautiful car love it 😀
I had one 😊 71 model 429 and an FMX auto transmission with some up grades 😮 wouldn’t run on pump gas after they took the lead out 🙄 was a lot of fun to drive and race 😊 silver with the hood blacked out and the metal louvre on the back glass 😊 bless ford motor company for building such a fine muscle car 😊
@mikegraham3802, 429 CJ and 429 SCJ engines are not the same. 429 SCJ engine not available with A/T. 4 speed manual transmission only. I have a 1970 Ford Torino with 429 SCJ drag-pack engine and it runs on premium unleaded fuel just fine.
10 out of 10 👍🦘
I love that song
Cool!
Cheyenne you were the best of all the talent players. And I mean it.
OUTSTANDING......VERY PROUD OF YOU!!!!!
splendid chey....Keep it up!You nailed it.So proud of you having a singing talent.😃
